Ok thanks, I’ve been envying the LED package so just ordered Supernova low beams, high beams, plus some reverse tail lights (note these are a different size than the led bed lights referenced elsewhere on the forum). 20% off “BLACKFRIDAY” coupon code. Will let you all know how it goes when they get here.
I actually ordered the reverse lights as well. I never installed them yet but that will definitely be happening tonight or tomorrow. I also just recently ordered up switchback LED turn signals for the front (different company). I will take pic of that after installment.

They weren’t bad to change. All you gotta do is go through the inner fender liner. Couple screws and then pull the liner back enough to get your hand in ther to take out the old bulbs and then put in the new lights.
Since you installed the low beams. Did the dust covers go back on or did you need to buy deeper ones. Also, any humming noise from the fans, flickering or canbus lamp out errors. I want to do the same thing. Just trying to get prepared.

I actually just cut a hole in the dust cover and then sealed it with some tape. (I know it’s dumb). But I havnt had any fog or anything from doing it. As for humming. I don’t hear anything at all. Even with the engine off. No errors and no flickering

That is good to know. I will probably buy the deeper covers on Amazon. 10 bucks a pair delivered.

These are 85mm. I think that would be the right size. If you pull your dust caps off and measure outer diameter, I think that is correct. I did not personally verify. There are a lot of sizes listed
The only problem with these is because of the canbus system that is attached to these bulbs. They really extend the wiring for the bulbs. You may be able to cram everything into the headlight assembly with that extension. I just didn’t want to do that because I kn is that resistors can get hot and I didn’t want anything to melt. Let me know how this goes

I was more concerned about the depth of the headlamp fan itself. Even if I decide to slice extended covers to put all the wiring and module outside, that is ok. I think these extended covers are rubber. Should be able to slice to push plugs through and drill holes for wires and reseal pretty easy I would think. My truck is on order. Don't have it yet. Could not justify $1000.00 for base line leds in this truck.

So I installed the switch back LED front turn signals on my truck. Definitely cleans up the look a lot better since it’s not white instead of orange. It does work as advertised and when the turn signal is engaged it flashes orange. The light is brighter than the stock bulbs in both colors. I can attach a video if
Needed but here’s a pic of what it looks like when your just normally driving.

I got them from https://www.diodedynamics.com. There is no selection for the 2019 RAM 1500 yet. But you can ask customer support or search their store. The exact name is the 7443 HP24 Switchback Dual-Color LED. Make sure you order the resistor kit for it because if you don’t get that you will have the bulb out notification on your dash

I just installed both the high and low beams. Everything functions exactly as expected - these lights are INCREDIBLY BRIGHT. From that perspective, problem solved.

The installation was incredibly painful. The idea that you just “reach up and change the bulb” is not at all true.

The amount of extra wiring and hardware requires that you completely compromise the dust caps (drill/dremel out a 1” hole) and just let these wires and aluminum components hang right out the back and get zip tied to whatever is near (with one hand by feel... I felt like an obstetrician).

Lights are dang bright but that install was a doozy.

Which brand bulbs did you buy. And what extras did you need to make them error free

headlightrevolution.com is where they are from. They come with all the wiring to make sure there are no errors.

Changing them wasn’t the easiest thing in the world. I took the fender liner pretty much completely off so I didn’t have to fight that. I did mention a bit back about the dust cover and the extra wiring. As for the dust cover I just covered the drill hole with tape so nothing got inside. I did not mention tho for the ballast(or resistor) that’s dangling that I used a zip tie to strap it down so it wouldn’t just fling around while driving.

He said he ordered those headlight revolution ones. He was asking me questions about it at the beginning of this thread and then he said he ordered them. Not trying to be the person to talk for him but I’m assuming you would like a quick answer. Lol
