Man I thought mine was high at $4.15, that's ridiculous!

Mine was $4.59, that's for 91 octane at Costco. The cheapest main station 89 octane is probably around $4.69 for ARCO in my area.

You go to Shell, and it's about .50 cents to dollar more, now that's ridiculous.

That's crazy. It would be nice if they came down but it is what it is lol.

I can't wait until I get gas prices back down to that level in our neck of the woods.
Unfortunately, it has been a steady rise. It was $3.09 last Dec, $3.12 in Jan, and now it's $3.22 😩

With this rise, I am glad I don't still have my challenger which had to have 93 octane. At least I still work from home, but I will have to start going to the office 2 days a week next month. I got rid of my last truck do to gas prices and my daily commute.

Averaging right at 18mpg after 12K miles. I'd guess that's about 60% hwy vs 40% city miles. Definitely notice it dropping 1-2mpgs in the winter with cold lubes, dense air, 4wd usage, and winter blend fuel. All told I'm pretty happy with that number for a 5,000lb V8 truck. Wish this brick got decent Hwy mileage like that.

Last several tanks are 15.7, 16.1, 15.1, 15.3, 15.5, 15.9, 16.1, 16.7, 15.8, and 15,8 mpg.. 90% Hwy, running 89oct or better.

Back on track.....filled up yesterday........travelled 356 miles since last fill up....averaged 20.9 mpg.......love this truck.
That's pretty dang good. My truck is set up the same as yours and the best I can do with really milking it is 17.5-18mpg overall. But there's no such thing as flat ground here so that really cuts into my totals.

I can average 21-22mpg on Hwy with 87oct (winter gas) if I keep my speed between 65-70mph. But my combined city/Hwy is around 17-18mpg.

When you say highway, are you talking 80mph on the interstate? My highway driving is on a 55mph highway on my commute. Reasonable highway speeds are way more efficient than interstate speeds.

I'm getting 18.0 by the computer with the second 89 octane fillup. Mostly side road flat country driving at ~55mph, very little city or freeway time. I suspect hand calculated will show at least 1mpg less. I'd be happy as hell to average 20+

The computer is actually very accurate. .1-.3 difference.
