Installed mine about a month ago and love it, my only issue is the sensors not working due to my 35’s. Spoke to edge about it and apparently they’re working on a fix for that, so hopefully soon.

Make sure the speedo is actually correct compared to GPS. I set mine for the sidewall size, but speedo was off by 2-3mph. Had to drop from 275/65/20 to a 275/60/20 to get speedo correct. That might help you out to get tire size setting to something that will allow sensors to work

It’s dead on lol, I measured my tires and messed with it several times before getting it right, unfortunately inputing anything over 33’s turns the sensors off

Mine still worked fine using 275/65/20 which are 34" tires. Had to drop it to the 33" 275/60/20 to get speedo to read correct. Not sure if using the p-metric numbers vs the inch measurements would make a difference

I did that with the tire size adjustment, too. I have 275/60/20, which is 33''. I had to reduce it to 32.5'' on the Pulsar, so the GPS and truck would jive. It's almost right on. Maybe .5 mph low. Close enough.(y)

Without looking at all the posts I believe I posted here about the electronic throttle control messing up/throwing codes check engine lights. After checking everything out the problem was the pulsar came ever so slightly loose from the ECM. disassembled, cleaned the connectors and put it back together everything has been fine for a month now. Hope this helps somebody else out.

Not sure how it could have come loose, unless the screws weren't tightened down prooerly

That was our assumption...nothing else seemed like it was a "cause"....again, after two weeks of codes, we took it apart and reassembled and now everything is 100% after 30 days.

Can we use a Tazer DT along with the Pulsar. They both use the audio function for steering wheel control. Won't that cause a conflict?

Yes, the TazerDT comes with directions for how to use with the Pulsar. Basically end up having to turn cruise control on for the Tazer functions.

I just bought a Pulsar. I have not taken it out of the box yet. Do I need to have that update cable? How do I know if there's an update? I have to buy the cable, install the software, just to see if I need an update for a brand new product? You'd think they would include it for the price of this thing.
I just installed mine straight out of the box on 12/3/21.....its flawless.Read install directions carefully and you'll be fine.No need for update cable far as I see until they make custom tuning available which is supposedly coming in the near...not so near future.
Also a couple of decent videos on YouTube as far as the install that you may find helpful. I'm really enjoying mine and honestly wouldn't want to drive my Ram without it after almost 2 months of use.

I agree with @Bama2020. I've had mine installed for almost a year, right out of the box. I don't know what updates would be available, but unless I begin to experience issues, I'll leave mine alone.

I already bought it.:ROFLMAO: I was going to buy it anyway, eventually. I figured why not sooner rather than later.

Had 2 updates so far since I got the Pulsar less than 4 weeks ago.🤷‍♂️ You don't know if there's an update unless you plug it in. That's not ideal to me, but, oh well. It is what it is.

So far, I love it. No issues at all. Not one code, nothing.

Personally, I like the throttle responses for the different modes, rather than having my Roar Pedal (which I sold) to adjust it. They are perfect for me. Actually, I drive around in Eco MDS Off mode most of the time, anyway. It helps in the snow and ice.

I think I ran into a compatibility issue between the Pulsar and Tazer DT. When switching drive modes on the Pulsar, you have to use the set/resume (+/-) buttons on the right side of the wheel. Well, I was driving to the store about an hour ago and I noticed that in switching driving modes for the Pulsar, that in turn triggers the light shows from the TAZER DT (even with the cruise control OFF). That's not cool, especially when you're driving. Someone flashed their lights at me. That's how I found out it was doing that. I did further testing when I got home to confirm it. There's got to be a way to disable the light shows. I do not want them anyway.

Unless you plugged the TazerDT into your computer and enabled lightshow in motion, there is no way your light show should have turned on while driving. And the only want to enable that is to plug it in to computer and enable through the software.

I did plug it in to my computer, but I had an issue. I bought it used. The cable I got with it wasn't the OEM one. It would not recognize the Tazer when I connected it in to my laptop. I have the latest software, etc. I am assuming it's a bad cable, or not a data transfer cable. I bought one on Amazon. It should be here tomorrow.

Also, I though I saw where you could change the InMotion on and off from the steering wheel controls. I did mess with that, but I didn't test it out. I just put it in drive and the light show still came on. Technically, that's not in motion, I guess. I don't know. Hopefully, that new cable does the trick with the software.

Also, you should have had to hold down the left arrow and then the cruise cancel button to bring up the menu, and then the cruise up/down to scroll through menu to get to light show to turn on. , unless you enabled shortcuts for the lightshow. But it doesn't sound like that would be the case if you don't care about the lightshow.

Sounds like previous owner must have enabled lightshow in motion, and shortcuts for the lightshow as well

That's what I am thinking, too. I know from my first one I had (brand new), the light show didn't happen like that.

So, you're saying I have to change that stuff from the software?

There should a "button remap" menu that should allow you to turn off the hotkey for the lightshow. I have not personally used that feature, so not sure how it works trying to unmap it.

The light show in motion has to be turned off through the firmware update software on a laptop or PC.
