I specifically asked Mark Dodge 'what's to keep you from selling my truck for $10k over MSRP when when it arrives and not honoring our agreed to price?"
Their response was "this truck is sold and has your name on it, and we do not do business like that"
I placed my order the same day.

That is how Browning Dodge/Ram was for me.

I’m only about 250-300 miles from shap. Ram chat said my truck was in transit 12/29. Dealer just texted me this transit chart. He has no idea where the truck is. Anyone know how to read this chart? I didn’t think it would take this long to travel that distance. View attachment 117220
based on the fact there are no dates in the "estimated truck outgate" tells me they have no drives to get the truck to your dealer.

Exactly the reason many of us relied on some simple forum posts to place our order with MD. They are almost of unheard of in this industry.

Almost $1400 price increase from my order date til my new window sticker. Still waiting to see what the dealer does. Initial response was, well that’s how todays market is… has anyone else dealt with this?
I didn't get it in writing, but my dealer said they would honor the original price, as I noticed an increase from my D status POC to this last one that has D1 onto.

IMO when you order it, it should lock in the price. I've never seen or heard of a home builder stating one price, and then when it's time to close on the new finished product, they mark it up because of the market. Actually, one home builder tried that and then they got sued by the original home buyer, the county gov, and then the city threatened to pull their licenses if they didn't honor the original price.

I think the big issue here is the dealer is all to happy to pass along the price increase and nobody else is backing the buyer here.......which really really sucks.

When did this come back? My son was told it's not available just four days ago.
According to the FCA affiliated rewards website, it's available on the 1500 DS excluding the DT and the 2500/3500. What model is a 1500 DS? Is that dealer stock? If it is, it excludes us who have ordered our trucks.

I love Charleston. 15-20 years ago I wanted to move to Mt Pleasant. Still love going to isle of palms every year. But with the population explosion there I’m not so sure I’d want to live there now.
My son just built a house there. Housing prices have gone through the roof!!!

Nooooooope.

But incase you'd like to see how it looks outside with snow as a contrast.... View attachment 117121 View attachment 117122
I added the decals on today while at the dealership. They were nice enough to have left it indoors last night while it dumped 8 inches of snow here. *From left to right, top to bottom. You have the Protoss Race Symbol, The Horde Symbol, The Enterprises Registry number, StarFleet Symbol, and Legend of Zelda. You could say.. Im a bit of a nerd.

Does the Off-road group give you a 1-2" factory lift on the Laramie's? Great looking truck with the Granit and black accents!

Thought I'd throw my $0.02 in since we are talking about dealerships. Big Shout Out to Peterson Ram Jeep Dodge & Chrysler in Nampa, Idaho! The price I was quoted when I ordered in November was $265.00 (sounds random, they just rounded down to an even number) below MSRP. POC price went up by almost $1000 during the build. When it arrived they had another $1500 incentive if I paid cash, or $500 and 0% for 48, I took the free money. They also matched the trade in price that Car Max gave me for my 2018 Colorado, which was more than I paid for it when it was brand new 4 years ago.

Of course the finance guy tried to sell me half a dozen extended warranties, but when I declined them all he didn't keep pushing or get ****ty with me. They honored the price I was quoted in November despite the price increase, and I was OTD at $1665.00 below MSRP. Not huge, but I felt good about it considering the way things are these days.

Every call or text was immediately answered. They forwarded me POC's every time I asked. They were all polite and professional. I got my truck 45 days after I ordered it. I was in and out of the dealership in about two hours. This may not sound all that great, but unless you've had to buy a car in Las Vegas, you have no idea how much of a breath of fresh air that was!

So, for anyone in Idaho's Treasure Valley, or SW Idaho, or pretty much the entire Pacific Northwest, give Perteson a call. Ask for Ricky, he's a young dude, but whip smart and very professional! They have my business for life...

I don't know how much of a lift it gives, but in my build sheet it stated "Raised Ride Height".

If it’s like Rebel, then it gives you a 1” factory lift. But then you only have one “off road” setting (whereas a non-ORG truck has two). This is for the air-ride suspension.
