Coming from a a 2015 with Halogens, going to projectors and never being happy with them having to supplement with LED aftermarket spots on my aftermarket bumper that were fantastic, I said next one will HAVE to have OEM the light package. My new one does and I couldn't be happier.

I went #3 with Auxito low, high and fogs. I love the OEM led look but the cost is ridiculous. I may end up going Vland route as I like how those look and I have read some good reviews.

If I decide to replace halogens with OEM LEDs headlights, is it pretty much plug and play on a Big Horn? I wanted the LED package, but it got kick out when dealer put it in on 11/19/21. Also are the plastic panels under the headlights different and will they need replacing?

So it looks like the OEM LED's are $1,400. That ain't bad at all. They are $1,000 if u get them on your truck from the factory but from what I understand u can't get a BH with LED's anymore? I think the Halogen housing is hideous looking. It ruins the whole truck imo. My BH looks so much nicer with the LED light package. I almost didn't get it either. That's one option I'm so glad I spent the money on. Makes the whole truck look so much fancier & modern.

you have a $40k truck and your complaining about $1400? Might want to trade that in for a honda.
Who is complaining about spending $1,400 on LED lights ? I'd do it in a heartbeat if mine didn't come with LED from the factory. Best $1,000 I ever spent in my life. I absolutely can not stand the Big Horns with the Halogen lights. I've noticed 2022 Laramie trims with Halogen lights now too at the dealerships. Yuck ! 🤮

That’s not ridiculous money for a quality light assembly.

If you were to do a retrofit it would cost about that much as well.

Vs just slapping in a led or hid into a reflector housing making a bright but scattered pattern.

So just an update on this thread since its been a minute

  1. Tried to order OEM LED housing for the Laramie - Order got cancelled by the dealer because of indefinite backorder
  2. Then ordered Hikari LED bulbs (highly recommended by friend). They ended being crap
I am now back to looking at a full assembly

I've never seen a Laramie with Halogens. Are you sure they weren't Big Horns?

I did the LED bulb replacement from headlight revolution. (they have videos on line to show how to do it) Everything fits inside the dust covers. And for proper aim the diodes must be clocked 3 and 9 o:clock. I went with Xenondepot LED low and High beam LEDs for $143 a pair and Diode Dynamics SS3 PRO Clear fog lights (thru Amazon seller) for $330

Everything is plug and play, no mods. You go thru the fender liner to replace the lights. A couple hours and you will lights like this.

just the fog light
