Not being a fan of leaving the old air box bracket installed with my Ram Airflow intake so I finally removed it (thanks GadgetMason for pioneering this). Imo this looks way cleaner. View attachment 115097
Pioneering it? If just comes right out. You relocate a couple Christmas tree push in wire loom holders and you are done. Removed .one without anyone having to show me how

They didn't fill the DEF for you?
No, lol. I’d rather know I’m getting quality DEF though. I don’t trust the dealer enough yet for that. The only reason I had them fill it with gas is because they use the same Shell station that I do since they don’t keep diesel on site.

Installed Amp Research powersteps. Took about 2.5 hours. Ordered LED light strips instead of using the supplied LEDs.
I have a set in my garage ready to install and dont like the idea of drilling holes in the pinch welds for the AMP lights.
What lights did you order? Waterproof I assume?

Yeah it’s dumb to use the supplied blue/purple lights they give and drill holes in the pinch welds. Any rock lights/light strips will work. Just stick them to the frame rails pointing outwards and it lights up the ground and the steps perfectly!

Installed B2 Fabrication Oval Muffler (DR-06), then washed the truck with the kids. I will upload before-and-after sound clips when I have a cold start sound clip with the new muffler.

How's the highway noise? I've been researching and debating various exhaust options for Spring.
Haven't taken it up to highway speeds yet. I have hit about 50 mph and it sounds great when you are on the throttle. When you let off you can barely hear anything. Like many other folks have reviewed, the truck is a little louder but what you notice most is the tone of the exhaust is deeper. Taking a short road trip tomorrow so I will update you on highway noise afterward.

And it seems that you would need 2 really large buckets to rinse them in. Although I guess as long as they are bendy enough to keep folding to a clean side, l will have to ask my neighbors to borrow some of their kids. I don't know that mine will fly home for this.

 That's one way to get quality time with the kids!

I just routed the lighting wires UNDER the pinch weld. You can't see them and the lights work fine. No drilling needed.

Scheduled ceramic coating for Thursday. They have to keep the truck for 4 days to ensure the coating cures properly… 😫

threw a set of Airlift 1000Hds in the rear coils. definitely stiffens up the rear, very imressed with the decrease in sag when connected to the boat. routed the lines through a bed crossmember above the Axle and installed the filler cap on the rough country wheelhouse liners i installed after the bags were set

Just got back from a road trip through TN & NC. '22 6 weeks old and have 3600 miles on it. Liking it so far!
My '21 that I got back in August is about to go over the 12,000 mile mark (had 9 miles when I took delivery). At this rate It will have more than 30,000 before it's 1st birthday.

Santa brought a couple gifts. Got the oem hood shield installed. Have to wait a bit on the LEDs.

Got the 6 piece interior kit, and 2 expansion packs for a total of 10 strips.

Got the sequential running board set, haven't decided if I'm going to run the turn signals or not. I know I'm not going to run the running lights. Not trying to look like I have a orange under glow kit.
