I always see threads about leveling and lifting but very rarely do I see any lowered threads. I had a 11 Bighorn that I leveled but I brought the rear down to meet the front so it was about 2 inches. I love the look of lowered 4th gens but I havent seen many 5th gens. I have a 21 BTS that has the ORP which sits slighly higher than normal but it's got me thinking about going low instead of high. If you have any pictures of your LOWERED 5th gen can you post some pictures with a description of your mods? Thank

I’ve just have a reverse level on mine, it’s extremely subtle which is what I wanted. Lost about an inch and a half in the rear because I added airlifts 1000hd in-coil air suspension. I’ve seen a few guys on here with beautiful lowered trucks, I’ll try to find em for ya.

Here’s one thread about doing the popular 2/4 drop

Mine is reverse leveled now, but not fully lowered. The only companies making lowering kits are MaxTrac and Inez unless something changed in the last couple of days. I wanted to lower mine initially, and still love a lowered truck. But I am very very peculiar about the ride of my truck, so I will not be doing anything else to the suspension. I am simply going to add some 275/60/20 AT tires now, since I need new tires anyway.

Does anyone know what the difference are between the rear springs on the offroad package and the regular or non-offroad package is?

Should be about 1" taller on the ORP and the spring rate may be a tad different. I am not sure though.

Thank but my ram has the ORP so the rake isn't as severe

I’m curious about that with the ORP, so I’m going to measure from hubs to fenderwells when I get home.

Just posted a few pics of my rig before i took the 24's off for the winter... factory air suspension on lowering links im figured she is dropped 1"-1.25"

The 5th gen Ram looks good lowered or leveled/lifted. It has had me torn on which direction for almost two years of ownership. With the lift/level route, you seem to have more wheel choices and even the stock wheels look great with a nice A/T-M/T tire. But, since I only keep something about 2 years anyway, it's about time for me to trade.
