Rough Country Dual 6in LED Grille Kit, and I have some extra dark smoked Lamin-X left over from another deal that I will use to lay over these to blend in with the rest of the front end look. Also, I plan to pull power for these from the factory fogs so when they are on these will be on.
Just installed mine today. Pretty good bang for your buck upgrade for $160. 20211216_115243.jpg

Any install tips? Looks like we have the same sport grill and taking a look at mine, it didn't look like I have much to cut out in that area. Also, you look to have black button heads for the bracket bolts, is that the way it came, or did you buy them somewhere? I plan to do the same.

I watched the install video on the American Trucks website first, very helpful. Biggest PITA was getting the side trim underneath the headlights off to access the bolts that hold the grille on. Some focused prying with a plastic screwdriver is needed.

I actually painted the bolts and the trim bezels with my bottle of Max Steel touch up paint. Think it turned out pretty factory looking.

Also, I ground the back of the steel trim pieces to a pretty good bevel so they sat flush against the grill.

Mine should be in tomorrow and my B2 5" tips on Saturday, and I am having my immediate family Christmas party at my house on Saturday then my extended on Saturday eve at my Brothers house, so getting to the light bar install will have to wait until Sunday.
Nice install, I hope mine turns out as well...BTW, wash your truck, lol.

It's winter. I'll wash my truck in April as soon as I see the ground again.

BTW, hoping Santa brings me an rear underseat storage compartment, and 10 more feet of snow.

80F here today, winter here is about a few weeks long around late Jan to Feb. per year at best. And when I say winter I mean in the 30's-40's... I'll be in shorts and flip-flops for Christmas!
Your pic above looks MISERABLE, I hate the cold.

Growing up in North Idaho, I used to love summer...then I moved to Phoenix for 20+ years. Now, I can't stand anything above 75°. I moved back here in 2007 and I figured I would start to enjoy summers and warm weather after a while...nope, still hate it. Lol

Yeah, summer is awful. Bugs, wildfires, tourists....no thanks. Some day in April when ski season is over I'm jetting down to the southern hemisphere for another 6 months of winter, then back to CO in November just in time for another snowy season. 18 straight months of winter!!!

I wish someone would offer it with partial coverage to put on the white light up DRL portion so that I wouldn't lose any light output on the headlights!
They sell the clear option too, that is the one I am getting.

I just want my truck back from the body shop.....someone blew a stop sign back in September and hit me (and they had no insurance). Finally got it in for repairs on Dec. 7th, was told be done on the 9th, then 10th, then 14th and now the 27th. WTF are they doing! Apparently they broke an Air cooling shroud and its on backorder. Feels good to vent....

When we had ours in the body shop they changed the date for pick up several times as well. I knew it was to get everything right, but that didn't make the waiting any easier. That it sounds like your latest delay was avoidable really sucks. Vent away...
