You wouldn't have a cargo camera. That's only for the HDs. People have added an additional camera and then enabled it. But, it's not available from the factory on 1500s.
I’m not 100% sure if it is an option or not, but I had wires in place on the back of the infotainment center in pins 21 and 22 that rang out to the wiring behind the third brake light, like my truck was pre-wired for the third brake light camera into the infotainment center. I’m not sure whether that is the case on the rearview camera also. I guess there’s a possibility there’s output wires on separate pins from the infotainment center to the rearview mirror, but I don’t know

What's that have to do with anything? So they use the same harness for a 1500 and a 2500. That doesn't mean it is an option for the 1500.

I revised my post to sound less harsh, but I guess you’re right and everyone should take your word for it.

Okay, not my word just fact. The cargo camera has never been offered on a 5th gen 1500.

Knocked out the rest of the projects on the truck yesterday. Started out with the AMP research power steps, the work great and sit pretty low when deployed, I’d say anyone with a lowered truck should probably not get these, they’re about 3-4 inches off the ground on mine and I just have a 2 inch rear level. Took my 3 and a half hours by my self, not to bad.

Next was the RDS fuel transfer tank and toolbox. I’m pretty impressed with it so far, the toolbox part is deeper than I was expecting. Tank holds 50 gallons, no direct tap into the truck though since it’s gas so I got a GPI transfer pump, works great!

Finally I installed the Husky mud guards, they say you don’t have to drill but the 3m tape it came with was pretty weak, i was able to drill into the well liners without removing the wheels which was nice.

P.S. for anyone wondering Costco gas stations have a $150 limit
Might be a dumb question, but why don't you just plumb it directly to the tank? I don't know if that can be done but seems like carrying that gas hose with ya to fill up isn't too much different than just going to the station...

I wish I could, unfortunately DOT does not allow gas to be gravity fed transferred into the main tank. My guess is because gas is much more flammable than Diesel which is allowed.

Having the tank, I can fuel up other toys without lugging around 5 gallon cans and when I’m towing a big ole trailer I don’t have to try and squeeze into gas stations as often if at all. I should be able to go around 700 miles when towing and over 1200 empty before I have to hit up a gas station.

That looks amazing man!!
Thanks! I had to get on the road for a work trip and had exactly an hour and a half to spare, so I managed to get the PAC AmpPro and 4 gauge amp install kit done. I didn't have time to disconnect the factory sub, but to be honest it sounds pretty good with it as is. This sub slams alot harder in a truck cab than it did in my Mustang. I still have to play with the settings, but very happy with how it all turned out.

Crappy pic, but installed none the less. Not sure what's up with the wrinkles in the carpet (and in the Katzkin seat) you don't really see them in person. Maybe some steam would help. 15ft of carpet was shipped in a small *** box.

Sorry to hear that. Did you have the diodes placed right in the lens? They should be in the lens at 3 and 9 o clock. If they are at 12 and 6, the light dispersion is close to what you are experiencing. I had similar issue until i had them in there right.
I had to adjust my Lasfits way down too, but was never near 2nd floor height. With about a car distance away, they'll hit about mid trunk. And cutoff is totally flat.
Yeah, spent too much time per side making sure the diodes sat at 3 & 9.

Gotta watch for some sales and decide if I want the Morimoto 2 Stroke 3.0s or the S-V.4s ....

As far I know, what he said is correct. 5th gen has cabling but 1500 doesn't actually have cargo camera, only HD's
No clue about 4th Gen, but Jimmy or one of the other people might be able to answer that. As they added 360 to their 4th gens with 5gen parts.
