Driving to look a 22 Ram on a lot in Indiana today. It’s got ramboxes bower folding mirrors and pano….100xxx vin group. Won’t be a back country, but I’ll see if she lures me in. Not patient enough. My order is a 152 vin. Will let y’all know if I bail !

Anybody have an idea if the trailer brake controller can be added after building? I did some searching and found my exact truck with everything except the trailer brake controller. It's a 3.5 hour drive away, but I'm still tempted to do it and get out of this ordering mess!

If they have what you want (and then some), buy it. I can’t tell you how painful it is waiting for a truck that I’ll probably never get. If my dealer called me and told me that that they had “my truck” plus a few options…I. Wouldn’t. Hesitate.
Well, they wouldn't honor my affiliate pricing on the truck they had on the lot so no deal today... Truck looks amazing in person though, the first time seeing a 22 Laramie night edition in the wild. But it's back to waiting what will feel forever on my truck to even be scheduled...2+ months and counting (no comparison), at this point it all sucks

For sure, my dealer was saying later vins weren't being built with sunroof when u referenced 200xxx+ vins being built. So I sent him a build sheet for a 200xxx big horn with a sunroof and he's now contacting his rep on Monday if I don't go D1 this weekend.
The factory rep apparently told my dealer it was the backcountry package holding up my build, which was ordered just a few days prior to you. They gave an estimated build date of 12/8 for mine. Notnsure exactly why the backcountry would be the issue as they are building plenty of trucks with ORG and BUG. Two tone is all i can think of or they don't have the simple backcountry badge for the dash lol

Kind of along the same lines...is the trailer camera wiring anything special or difficult to install after delivery? Kind of wish I'd ordered it so I can use my trailer camera on the factory screen.

I know, right? It's mind numbing. Pull some build sheets and pressure your dealer.
I'm not ready to pressure just yet. still been only 8-weeks for me (from when my dealer actually ordered 13 if I count when I traded in and told them what I want)
But I do have all the ammo I need to shoot any bulls*** excuses (Build sheets with higher vins, charts from Eighty and triple_B just to name a few rounds)

It's listed as "Trailer Camera Wiring Prep Package by Mopar®"

Not sure if that's different from you posted, but I think it is.

im at 10 weeks, there are trucks on dealer lots I would take rather than waiting, except they are between 5 and 7k more, nobody with trucks on their lots will come close to matching my ordered price.

Yup I just went through this exact conversation with my dealer this morning as they had a truck available with a couple extra options compared to mine and they wouldn't honor the same pricing

The camera wiring prep is different than the Trailer Surround-View cam system. I believe the wiring on the truck side is the same, but software is enabled in the uConnect to allow the surround camera in addition to a single Aux camera. The surround-cam system supposedly is only available from factory when truck is ordered but I'm sure Alfa-OBD can address it.

It will be next summer before I'm able to try out the surround cams.
