Start of 2022 Production.

So Sandi called me this afternoon and of course I was stuck in a meeting. She emailed me and said that they are reaching out to their stellantis rep. I had mentioned that I am willing to make some changes if that gets things moving and brought up how I know Max Steel has been discontinued. I wonder if something has happened and I'm on hold by mistake and they're looking for me to choose a new color. Anyway, she asked what acceptable alternative colors would be if that in fact is a hold up and I let her know.

I guess I'll see what they say, if anything. I was totally fine watching 3 trucks get built with parts that would make up my BS seemingly daily, but watching several that are essentially identical or equipped with more that are higher vins struck a nerve. All I can come up with is that it's a legit hold because of my color choice or they are prioritizing trucks with a higher MSRP.....
What colors did you pick?

So if they told me my truck is in production on the 13th. How long should I wait for a BS? Just trying to figure out when I need to be an @$$ again.

I threw out Blue Shade. If that would not suffice then I need to think between granite and silver and I lean towards granite.
I also don't necessarily think color is a hangup. I know @Eighty has hooked me up a couple of times with build sheets showing 1500s in Max Steel being produced but I know I've seen here where something on a POC gets flagged by the factory because something needs a change snd its like no one gives the ordering dealership a freaking call to let them know. They appear to be happy to let an order sit forever if there's an issue.

All I know is that if I understood Aaron correctly (and it was a very information filled call so I may not have), Stellantis is essentially saying (in my interpretation) that say 100 people order the same config. When they go to start churning those configs put they are suppose to be built based on VIN/Order Date. If that is true, then something is wrong with my order needing attention.

Looks like they build what they can with what they got and when that is gone there is a restriction to order it again. When they get more in they build those orders alredy in the system.Simple not hard to figure out

To me it's like they have a bunch of orders and just build what they feel like. Come into work and say well guys we have to build 1200 trucks today. Go pick some build sheets out of the box first us.

The 177 are comprised of these:

Big Horn
5
Laramie
12
Limited
107
Longhorn
14

And for all 11,382, it looks like this:
Limited

TRX
2394
Longhorn
1711
Rebel/Sport
439
Big Horn
240
Laramie
106

If they told you it was in production today then expect your BS on Monday. They don’t release BS’s on the weekend.

i highly doubt color is holding up your build as well. I see rebels with much higher vins than mine being built with similar options. I have blind spot, ASG, and pano, which all seem to be a hold up in one way or another, the only other taboo option i dont have is ram boxes.... I doubt i will ever get my truck as well..

I saw similar things as well but now I'm to the point of seeing the exact same options plus more in some cases. Mainly 10th Anniversary/MFT, Ramboxes, ORG and Tow Packages with several instances of builds having the pano too (which I did not order). If they're churning out more than what is on my POC then either there's a hold up for some unknown reason or they have shifted from quantity building with stripped vehicles to builds that maximize mark up.

Going by that logic I'm next for bighorn builds lol

I know, right? It's mind numbing. Pull some build sheets and pressure your dealer.
For sure, my dealer was saying later vins weren't being built with sunroof when u referenced 200xxx+ vins being built. So I sent him a build sheet for a 200xxx big horn with a sunroof and he's now contacting his rep on Monday if I don't go D1 this weekend.

Did some snooping around at my local railcar hubb..plenty of trucks in the lot forsure even a Blue on a trailer!

Anyone know if the last photo is BLUE SHADE?!?

Hmm
