Where did the weathertech deflector hit? I just installed it on mine but truthfully I didn't pay attention to it as I was in a hurry.
Its towards the right side of the top of the grill before it starts to curve down around the headlight. Mine was definitely warped and CARID screwed up and sent a replacement somewhere else, to an address that wasn't even mine, and wouldn't resend a new one. I won't do business with CARID ever again.

Also, I figured out how to remove my chrome trim from my handles and paint them to match the color of my wheels. Forgot about all that haha. I only have chrome on the tailgate handle now, but going to order that one blue since remove the chrome piece is a pain from what I can tell.

Funny. I want to add that chrome trim to mine lol

Nevermind about your door handles. What the heck happened to your tires? It looks like you drug them against a curb for 5 miles. Clean and dress those tires before you give me a seizure. 🤣

Well it all started when I painted my wheels 😂. I have another set that’s going on soon as I just painted over these bad boys lol. I sanded everything and wet sanded it after a few coats then clear coated them.

I am in process of doing similar to my truck.
i have the handles seperated and in trying to get the white adhesive out of there before i paint.

what did you use to remove the adhesive?
also the tailgate is two sided tape and yes it was a pain to seperate.
i used low heat (digital heat gun at like 200 deg) and lots of patience,
i slipped a plastic trim spatula behind the chrome as i heated the tape from both sides.

what did u use to reglue them in?

I'm with you on that. Sent me an older model bed mat, no response to email.

Gathered the tools and supplies to take the bilsteins apart and reset them on setting #4 tomorrow. Also do an oil change this weekend.

I couldn’t remove the glue easily so I left it. I just put some more adhesive silicone on it when I put them back. They look perfect so I’m happy.
Sweet. I might try the back one in a few days. That’s the last piece of chrome I have left now.

been a hectic few weeks, so I will combine all my "today's" into one post.
Installed a OEM trailer brake controller and enabled it with help from @brotharon's post.
Picked up a new travel trailer and WDH and towed about 300miles to get her home.
Swatted a rock with the windshield somewhere near the MA/CT border and chipped it.
<couple day break>
Chip is now a 10 inch crack, scheduled windshield replacement for tomorrow.
Stained the front seat with a smashed chocolate chip from a granola bar.
Towed the trailer from Conn to Wash DC and back for an end-of-year camping trip. 1000 miles and the Truck did GREAT for a half-ton with 11,000 GCW.
Got 10.5 mpg over that 1000 mile trip. Not bad for a gasser.

You getting an OEM or aftermarket windshield, and do you have a camera above the rearview mirror?
