I know others have purchased interim trucks while waiting for their orders. Really considering buying a different truck while waiting too. Dealer down the road has a 2021 Bighorn Crew Eco Diesel coming in this week. Billet, level 2 and some other options.

Just wonder how close to break even I can get when my order comes in and I'd sell this one. Man, If Ram would just build our trucks!

As a side note. My MSRP was $71,355. The dealer knocked about 5 grand off of that.
Its a laramie. For the $$ im easily in the limited range. But the packages and look I wanted isnt offered in the Limited (too much chrome on everything) Im okay with that. The only real miss is the Full leather. But i'll go katzkins when i want that swapped anyways and make it more "me"

Night Edition gets rid of all the chrome (on a Limited). You also get 22 inch wheels, and not everyone likes those.

Several years ago Georgia implemented a TAVT (Title Ad Valorem Tax) @ 6.6% of the net purchase price. TAVT replaced the standard sales tax so no real bottom line impact to the consumer. Also going forward the only annual fee is $20 for the tag.

Unless you have an electric vehicle...then it is an extra $213.70 per year.

But then you get the 22's (which im swapping out regardless of what came on) and it limits the color of the truck. I like the night edition but I wanted the Patriot blue. Which you couldnt do. Or Sport edition and off road edition.

Fully loaded limited is around $77k….

It’s because they don’t pay gas tax but still drive on the roads which are normally funded by gas taxes. I wonder how much I pay on gas tax come to think of it

I've been quiet here because I ended up getting a used Tundra, I just couldn't wait any longer for the new Ram. I emailed my dealer on September 16th letting them know I was canceling my order. They didn't respond.

I came back to the forum today because I received a text this morning saying my order is "almost off the production line, estimated ship date is 10/30/21".
I may not be getting the truck anymore, but I wanted to give an update on the order itself for Eighty's tracking, if it's helpful.

Yep and just looked up GA gas tax and it was 28cents in 2020. So those EVs pay equivalent of about 750 gallons of gas. That’s actually seems a bit high. 15k miles at 20mpg

What would you guys do. Dealership ssid they will repair truck or I could get another one ordered. I actually missed a couple of options I wanted so may be a chance to revise. He said he could plea with Chrysler to put me in front of line but we know how thst works. My biggest issue is it could get reported to carfax. He won’t do but others involved could.

I would reorder for sure. Having a brand new truck with replacement parts on it would kill my OCD!

3-4 months seems a little low. I will hit exactly 4 months tomorrow and I still don't even have an expected build date. With the other amount of orders submitted I would plan for 6+ months and hope it gets here sooner.

Edit: Went and looked up when he initially ordered and it was almost exactly 5 months ago. (May 24th) I stand by my 6+ months to delivery for orders placed now.
