Well I just saw this to add more issues to maybe why some are being made over others. If they start to run low on paint, some of us with Blues might have further delays

Great:(

@Eighty - According to your tracker, there have been 38,274 Big Horns ordered. Of those 38,274 Big Horns, 4,885 are Crew Cab 5'7" Bed 5.7L HEMI 4x2 (like mine). Do you have a way of knowing how many of the total Big Horns ordered and the 4,885 (listed above) have RamBoxes? I'm pretty sure that's one of the main items holding up my build. And I'm sure there are other items, but that may be a big one.

Thanks for your help with everyone on here!

They can keep building Laramie's. Mine will pop up sooner rather than later... ;)

I know my dealer told me delivery date for mine is 10/29 which seems a little tight in my eyes when it’s not even built yet

Dealer just told me build date of October 25, chat still has me scheduling phase still. Who do I trust?

That’s basically what I also get with a delivery date othe October 29th. I trust everyone since I see you are getting what seems to be the same mumbo jumbo

Luckily the paint is already on my truck, so I'm not too Blue...

Well, that Google spreadsheet is @triple_B's work (not mine). But the answer is no - the only thing that can be seen for ordered trucks (not yet built) is the VIN. And the VINs don't have information about options, other than Series, Cab/Bed, Engine, 4x4/4x2, and Gross Weight.

So the saga continues with my order.

Dealer tells me that, after Ram converted mine to Rebel Level B (forcing the Rebel 12 package), the system has now reverted my order back to the original configuration (Rebel Level 2, with Rebel 12A). He's taking it back up the chain - again - to find out what's going on.
That really sucks man. WTF? If they can't build your truck the way you want then just tell you.

Of the 38274 BigHorns ordered, 13981 have been built and only 182 of those have RamBox's but what we dont know is how many of the 38274 were ordered with RamBox.
Like @Eighty said, the VIN doesnt tell us anything about RamBox options until after the truck is built.

Here is the RamBox count per series, looks like if they are in short supply they are prioritizing them to the higher tier trucks OR its just that the higher tier trucks are more commonly ordered with them perhaps?

This makes sense why I haven't really seen Hydro Blue on the build sheets. I knew Akzo was having issues.

Great info. Not sure it makes me feel any better. Almost wish I hadn't seen it.

Oh great. I'm in that 1%. Even less, when you add the pano and back country. This might put me to next year.

Forgot to add that it's hydro blue...lol

So, I was curious how this looked...

Boy this tells a story. They are prioritizing bighorn and Laramie trucks for building and shipping. These are the most common models sold on the lots. Most sold orders have more options. They might build them but they are not shipping them. I think it might be more about using up the available shipping capacity to get the most commonly sold models on the dealers lots.

So to share my experience so far, I ordered just two weeks ago on 10-6-21. I contacted the guy that ordered for me at the dealer today and he said it had already went D1 status and a scheduled ship date of 10-28. I know after reading through and keeping up with this thread every day that it’s not realistic timing but, it would make me ecstatic if they started to build it around then. I’m hoping for delivery by the end of the year and that may not happen but, a man can dream right? I do hope most of you that’s been waiting for months on end start to see some progress sooner than later.

This is an absolute pile of ****. I'm considering reordering from a volume dealer.
