Start of 2022 Production.

So to share my experience so far, I ordered just two weeks ago on 10-6-21. I contacted the guy that ordered for me at the dealer today and he said it had already went D1 status and a scheduled ship date of 10-28. I know after reading through and keeping up with this thread every day that it’s not realistic timing but, it would make me ecstatic if they started to build it around then. I’m hoping for delivery by the end of the year and that may not happen but, a man can dream right? I do hope most of you that’s been waiting for months on end start to see some progress sooner than later.

What dealer did you order from?

Boy this tells a story. They are prioritizing bighorn and Laramie trucks for building and shipping. These are the most common models sold on the lots. Most sold orders have more options. They might build them but they are not shipping them. I think it might be more about using up the available shipping capacity to get the most commonly sold models on the dealers lots.
My dealer just added 14 2022 Big Horns to their website. All are quad cab. I know they have a few on the lot.

I decided to chat with our friends at RAM this afternoon to see what they had to say. Devon was my guy today and he said my truck was in paint! I went into D1 on 10/9, my POC shows a 10/22 ship date. So based on that info, it seems that my truck is keeping with the "trend" of the build sheet popping up around the ship date on the POC. Come on @Eighty and @triple_B! Pull that build sheet! :D

It will likely be built around the ship date. Then possibly sit in JB status for 5 weeks like mine.🤣

I fixed the view the other way here, with both Orders and Shipped against totals. Bighorns are being shipped at a higher (faster) percentage then their orders. I also think that your are right that this may be due to the reduced option sets. No bed liner, no pano install, no underseat storage, no modifications should equal a quicker build.

I'm not as convinced on the shipping... It seems early in the season. At least my dealer still has a number of '21s that they will want to sell.

So, I'm a bit confused... Have you been using the regular URL? (https://www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=YOUR_VIN_HERE)

If so, does your build not appear?

Yet Devon says you are already in paint and have been in DI since the 9th?!?

I've been bouncing between the build sheet checker on all..Ram, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and the FCA link someone shared. No build sheet yet. Yes, D1 since the 9th and yes to in paint. The build sheet doesn't pop up until after the truck is built and can sit in D1 for weeks, so considering its only been a a week and a half, I'm not complaining. It'll be interesting to see when the window sticker pops up and it actually ships.

Well guys, I know I haven't waited near as long as some of you (My order went in on July 01) but I gave up today. No answers, no status, no nothing. Got a call from the dealer this afternoon and my salesman and the GM of the dealership tried to get a status with **** results. SO.... I just bought a 2022 Power Wagon. It should be on the lot within a week (it's in Portland, OR now) and they will install AMP Research XL running boards on it so the spousal unit can get in and out. Gonna cost more but they gave me $68k for my trade in back in August so I knocked a chunk out of the price. Good luck everyone. Here is the shot from the dealer's website. No real photos as it hasn't hit the lot yet.

So, I'm only 5 weeks into my order but thought it time to check in with my dealer. I'm a 172, so not expecting anything, but with all the clusterfuckery you never know!

Like many others, I ordered from Mark Dodge. Sandi told me today that none of their Rebels have gone D1 yet, and that she's hearing December as the projected start date (and to enjoy the holidays and check back in in December!). "Happy Thanksgiving!"

Build sheets show up the morning after the truck goes down the main assembly like and paint is near the very beginning of that so I would expect it tomorrow morning.
Still looks like good news for @ekaz !!!

Thanks for the sequence detail.

Just curious if there is anyone on this forum who is still waiting for a March order or earlier???

Same, it only took 8 days to get a build sheet from D1, and you get a build sheet once it hits I status and finishes general Assembly

just got me thinking, many of us with builds this week are exstatic That we went from D1 to a build in around a week. This is actually a TERRIBLE revalation, prior too they gave two weeks warning so this implies albeit not expressly that they are not willing to schedule more than a week in advance. Meaning the window they are comfortable reserving parts for is at a week right now.

Hey hey! Brand new to the Forum, and have been anxiously waiting to join the RAM Fam. Knocked my Wife up because quarantine babies are a thing. Now, I need to drop my 2020 Supra so I can truck the little runt around. I’ve called FCA once a week over the last few weeks, and all I get is “D” status, awaiting inspection, and no ESD.

I’m trying to sift through different threads to get a deep dive on production/shipping statuses, but there’s a lot out there. Is there anyone here that can throw me a bone before I blow my brains out? I just want to be able to take this little man on adventures!!!

Ordered 08/23
VIN acquired 08/28
Last 8: NN168125
