Well, I'm not liking where this is going. If this is the case then it's not making our orders as priority orders.
Barebones or not, it's another truck that could have been configured for someone that has been waiting for months.
Yea, I'm with you there, I would rather they build from lowest vin up, by engine size, 4x4 or 4x2, literally anything but what they are doing now (seemingly drawing numbers from a hat).
I can understand if they need to skip people who ordered something they are completely out of such as power folding mirrors or blind spot monitoring (EXAMPLE ONLY, not saying they are out). But skip them until you get that part and work on PIECING the next vin together, not just screw the last guy out of parts and give them to someone else, ALL-O-CATE!
Ask the dealer to ask the customer if they would like to change their order, don't just change something that somebody put thought into, got excited about, or whatever reasoning they had for picking the options they did. It really KILLS brand loyalty, there is a reason I won't give a dime to Chevrolet and thats because they killed that brand loyalty for me.
I really want to like the brand with this being my first custom order experience, but if this truck is missing a lot of what I ordered, I'm likely to only buy private seller vehicles.
Morning rant over.
Oh yea almost forgot,
