@RamCares I am another owner with the problem of a rear window developing a leak at the corner of the window. This is obviously a design defect as many people have this problem and RAM and the MOPAR warranties refuse to cover it. RAM claims it is caused by cracking of the seal, thus allowing small amounts of water to enter. RAm dealership can't get it covered and wants around $2000 for the repair. RAM should have stepped uop long ago to address this design defect and cover the costs, regardless of mileage. Mine is under 3 years old with 63000 miles.

This is the second realy bad experience I have had with RAM and Chrysler. My prior 2014 RAM 2500 Laramie 4x4 was a "runaway". It would randomly take off like a rocket and braking did no good. Only solution was to shift to neutral and hope you go nurse it or tow it to a dealership. It gave no codes and RAM's solution was to "video it next time" - right while I am trying to keep from getting killed or killing someone else. This also was/is a known problem for which RAM & Chrysler refused to stand behind their product and do the right thing.

Ramcares is on a milk carton these days. Definitely a defect, mine cracked/leaked at 15k, less than 2 years old. Eventually they will have to own up to it as more and more complaints occur, just like the AC

I also have had to have the radio (expensive control module) replaced twice now. Fortunately, it was covered under warranty. The 2nd replacement was because the first replacement unit failed within a year. This module basically controls everything.

I am convinced it is the reason my AC works well on an intermittent basis. Sometimes the AC blows really cold, but most of the time is it's like the blend doors stay open and you get a cool airflow, even when set on MAX. You should not have t drive with the AC on MAX
to stay comfortable.

I am currently on my second roof leak as well; the dealership says it's the back glass and not the third brake light. The first leak happened with barely 14K miles on the truck in April to June 2019 and was still covered under the 3Yr/36K mile warranty. The extended warranty company has rejected my new claim saying that they don't cover any sort of glass or seals. RAM Cares knows this is an issue in all of their trucks. My dad had issues in both of his RAMs. He eventually traded his 2006 RAM off and went with a GMC. I have never had this much trouble with a MOPAR product. I have owned 5 RAMS, 2 Intrepids, 1 Durango, 1 Charger, 1 Challenger, and a T&C. I am ready to join up with a class-action suit because for the amount of money I spent to buy the truck and then the extended warranty, to be told "it's not covered by warranty" is absolute BS. I am HIGHLY allergic to mold spores, in addition to a bunch of other environmental triggers and my truck should not be a breeding ground for this. I might go GMC shopping this weekend.

They would be wise to own up to the window frame and extend the warranty as many more of these will crack as time passes. I thought I was in the clear, mine just happened after two years.

Do you have glass coverage through your insurance company? It could be free and replaced in your driveway

Doesn't GMC use the same vendor/rear window as Stellantis?
Same vendor, same problem with cracked frames. That and the thimble they call a gas tank is what keeps me from buying one

you know the dealer is not your only option for getting the job done. go online and buy the glass assembly and have any reputable auto glass shop install it. the dealer is always going to be 3x more expensive as their markup and labor are alot more. most manufactures don't give 2 sh**ts when your out of warranty so why would you expect someone from this forum to care as you are at 63k miles. At the same time, the dealer is not going to bend over backwards for you with the manufacture unless you are a big time spender at the dealer.

My 2021 Limited leaked the second week I had the truck, with just a few hundred miles on the odometer. I was driving in rain it came in a significant amount of water. Dealer replaced the rear window under warranty. Never had a vehicle leak before
