$900. Took a month to get it. I’d say I have between 1700-1800 total. Gonna try to sell my 8.4 as well

I know of a few people that successfully used Jscan for the swap. It definitely sounds like the DCSD setting didn’t take, but the ICS setting did. Did you double check the current status of the DCSD in Jscan?
I triple checked it over the course of a few hours when I did the install.

I used JScan on my iPhone and it works

Would you be willing to take a screen shot of the two settings and upload them here for me? I don’t get what I did wrong.

I used the bypass JScan said to used. I also used the OBD tool they recommended.
I made all the changes with the truck on run engine off. I plugged up the bypass and connected JScan to the OBD tool. I went into the settings and changed them both. Disconnected from the truck and pulled the fuse for and left the fuse pulled for 5 minutes. Put it back. Waited 40 minutes and the screen won’t power on. I did this method three times. Once I pulled the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes instead of the fuse. Still nothing.

I reverted all the settings back to factory for the 8.4” non Nav. All the knobs stopped working.
I reverted all the settings back for the 12.1” knobs work but screen won’t power up. I’m beyond frustrated.

Do you have the correct module for the truck year and screen?

Mine has sat for days and I've confirmed the settings are correct and I still can't get it to work. I'm pulling all mine back out and putting the 8.4 back in. I'm tired of pulling fuses and checking it and it still not working. I must just put it all up for sale.

I did mine myself but I’ve talked to several people who used them and they said they were great and had no issues

How much is the total cost if I want to do it myself? Can you give me an estimate? Thanks

The module to control the screen was $660 shipped https://www.moparfactoryparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-multi-media-radio-68317978al

The LVDS cable was $30 shipped https://www.ebay.com/itm/184946900398?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

The Bluetooth OBD tool was $60 shipped https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088LW211V?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

The gateway bypass was $25 shipped: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W4YF2H7?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

I used OBD JSCAN for iOS and it was 19.99 for one VIN to change the settings.

I bought an adapter harness instead of repinning mine and that was $40 shipped from a guy on this site.

The screen and bezel prices vary. I bought used pieces and they ended up not being perfect cosmetically but I only paid $400 for both.

Well since I tried everything and still can't get the screen to power on without pulling the fuse I took it all out and put the 8.4" back in. It is very disappointing but I confirmed the settings and changed the settings back and forth a ton of times and it just wouldn't work even when the settings were correct. I give up. I don't get why so many people had success and I can't get it! That is also frustrating.
