To all who have performed keyless entry changes(I.e. remote start, add fobiks, passive entry)did you get your pin from dealer for the RFH? Alfa can’t pull it on my 19 1500dt.
spoke with developer, says the pin reader function is in experimental stage…
Chrysler Pin puller does not work either.
mom using the gateway bypass, I will remove it and try all factory tonight.
thanks for any info.

The PIN is useless to the owner on the 5th gen DT Rams. It’s not needed to enable remote start, passive entry, or lower tire thresholds like it was on the 4th gens. Only way to program a fob for a DT is to have the dealer or a locksmith do it.

Yeah, no problems doing a ton of other stuff in alfaobd. Just wish we could have that feature. Feels like a bit of a rip from the manufacturer. Oh well. Guess I’m off to the RAM dispensary. Thanks.

Just a quick question, but first, the setup: I have a 2021 Ram1500 (hemi, 4x4). I changed out the tires from a stock size of 275/65/18 to a 275/60/20. Speedometer was off but not by a lot really. About 2 mph slow at 80mph. So anyway, I finally got around to hooking AlfaOBD up and correcting the tire size. I watch three or four youtube videos on it (University of Youtube), and the ones that I did watch all had warning lots after the change and they did the ANS reset and a couple other things.

I didn't get any errors after I changed the size, BUT I selected a pre-existing tire size in the drop down menu and none of the guys in the videos I watched did. My just changed, showed me the new size and that was it. I took it down the highway and checked it against Waze. Seemed to be pretty darn close to me. Closer than it was for sure.

So my question is, did anyone else not have any errors pop up after just the one adjustment?

So you don't get the errors or at least I didn't until you start the ABS Initialization. So I believe your automatic braking may be off a bit if you don't do that step.

I didn't get any ABS errors the first time I attempted to adjust my tire size, but it was because I didn't select the reconnected button during the ABS step. Once I did that step, I got the error lights. I used DieselRebel's video.

My truck is a bighorn level 1. No auto braking.

By auto braking meant ABS which all trims should have. Antilock braking System

ABS isn't "auto braking". The BigHorn lvl 2 has an auto braking feature as part of parking sensors that will stop the truck if they sense something in the path

Yes I know, didn't use correct terminology. ABS(Anti-Lock Braking) is technically automatically braking but different than the feature you mentioned with the car/object detection. It detects if your wheels are locking up and automatically pumps brakes to keep you from locking up. If you have incorrect tire size it will be off a bit without doing the Initialization but not enough to probably make a difference or notice. However its not hard to do in Alfa, so might as well.

Sorry to interrupt, I’m looking to compare my bcm log to another. I recently enabled ventilated seats for my truck (prior to installing the actual seats) to be sure that I could get the soft keys on my radio. The soft keys showed up, but I noticed that my side mirrors stopped tilting down on reverse.

So I reverted my changes in alfaobd, no change in the mirrors, changed my mirror settings to no for memory/tilt functions in order to remove the option from settings, the enabled them again. The settings option returned with no change in function.

I’m at a loss as to what has changed and is stopping the tilt function from working. Does anybody know where I could find a log to compare mine to, I’ve had no luck in searching the forum and have read through this thread. Any feedback is much appreciated.

My truck is a 2019 lv.2 bighorn with the 8” nav capable screen if that’s of any consequence. I had swapped my tow mirrors for memory mirrors a while back, swapped my door modules/harnesses with memory capable ones, had my dealer add the sales code to my vin, and enabled auto tilt with Alfa. Everything has been working fine until now.

I’m surprised it’s not enabled from the factory. They all have the ajar circuit already.
This function is enabled for my truck, but I do not have any indication with open tailgate. Asked dealer today, they said is normal.
Tailgate Ajar Indication: Yes
