Thats the southwest edition laramie. You can tell by the chrome grill slats and the chromed accessories Im pretty sure thats patriot blue albeit editied to the point of not being distinguishable

I have a question! I’m trying to find if the GT comes with any other configuration besides all black. Since all this talk about interior made me want the TRX interior with red accents. Any info would be appreciated

I suspect that a lot is going to happen in the next couple of weeks relative to status changes and assigned ship dates. Would it be worthwhile to move from projected and or assumed build sheet data points to actually assigned ship dates?

When build sheets start coming out, I’ll update the data accordingly. But trying to use “estimated” ship dates right now would be pure chaos.

There was some discussion earlier about weather they will build these trucks in sequence or in clusters of vins with like features. It kinda looks, based on the few D1s treported hat they will build them in clusters. Much more should be known in the next two weeks as people see and report estimated ship dates and build sheets. Your vehicle could arrive in October or as late as Christmas, realistically.

I have an estimated ship date of Sept 17th, and with 3 weeks shipping time puts the arrival date at around Oct 9th. That is if they get the 21s built and they don't have to shut the plant down again. My attitude is somewhat better than most on here because I have seen progress on my order where most haven't.

Anyone listen to the latest episode of the TFL Truck “TFL talkin’ trucks” podcast? It was about the Ford Raptor but had an interview in the middle of the episode with the head of Ram. No huge news but they did touch on their move towards intentionally smaller dealer allocations/lot stock in favor of customer custom orders. Also how are trying to deal with the chip shortages. Again, nothing earthshaking but still interesting if you’re a podcast listener.

Thank you for the info, I knew it would be a while, the dealer told me 8 weeks from when I ordered it, but I knew they were under estimating. I will remain patient.......October, November, I am retired so it doesn't matter, more time in the woods.

There's so many trims now and so many options, you'll almost always end up missing out on stuff you want, and getting stuff you really don't care about and there's no reason for it other than people don't know how factory ordering works and/or are too impatient.

For sure there's situations where you just need 4 wheels and an engine NOW so sending a handful of moderately equipped (and therefore reasonably priced) units to lots makes sense but for people that would prefer either a barebones vehicle or a tricked out one, factory order.

I agree myself. If they're going to do this hard-core though they need to setup a MUCH better website with VERY high-resolution photos available of nearly every angle of each and every trim level, option, etc. Make sure the information is up-to-date and CORRECT. I realize for competitive reasons they need to keep some things close to vest until the very last minute, but a buyer can't make an informed decision without information.

They also need to keep the ala carte options available to the maximum extent possible without creating supplier issues but still offer packages that make it compelling to go that direction.

The dealer model is going to HAVE to change for Stellantis, Ford, GM, and some of the other majors if they're going to compete with Tesla, Rivian, Lordstown, and Bollinger because Tesla has already proven it can be done and Rivian is nipping at their heels. I still prefer a brick-and-mortar dealership I can walk into but their "stealership" business model will have to conform to the modern times or they will get left behind.

A FAIR profit margin can and SHOULD occur for dealerships-it's what drives our world economy. The unscrupulous dealerships marking vehicles up considerably OVER MSRP and consumers actually allowing it has to stop. It will take care of itself if not.......

My dealer called me yesterday said my truck has been in D1 for a couple weeks and has a ship date of 9/10... they will let me know... when I see it I'll believe it.

Just curious…do you think that the spikes that you have on your sheet are bulk dealer orders? It would explain a lot with the vin numbers being in order.

Right now it looks like the early folks are kicking off the 2022 party. Then there is a spike (guessing dealer orders) then the next batch (includes me) of folks with orders around the early -mid June order banks

There's so many trims now and so many options, you'll almost always end up missing out on stuff you want, and getting stuff you really don't care about and there's no reason for it other than people don't know how factory ordering works and/or are too impatient.

For sure there's situations where you just need 4 wheels and an engine NOW so sending a handful of moderately equipped (and therefore reasonably priced) units to lots makes sense but for people that would prefer either a barebones vehicle or a tricked out one, factory order.

I agree. I have never ordered before. Asked about it one time but that dealer wanted nothing to do with it. I got the options I wanted without 7k of unwanted fluff. The dealer I went to on this order was easy.
That being said, I hope I’m not waiting till May for my ride.
