I actually love that I have no idea what's going on here.
You talking about orders, or tree fiddy? You have to google Southpark - it’s a classic episode

I just spoke with my dealer and he was able to get some information. He said the technology group is currently not orderable for 2022s at the moment due to the chip shortage. Unfortunate but I guess I’ll just have to wait.

Is that for all trim levels except Longhorn and Limited? Technology Group was rolled into Level 1 for Longhorn and Limited.

When I added Level 1 to my build with my dealer last week, head up display and digital rear view were not one of the features that were included in that package. Sounds like they could have changed it around. The technology package is only available on the big horn for 2022. Doesn’t make sense, i know. I’m just gonna wait until September when I can build and price on the website.

Maybe Ram hasn't updated their ordering system to reflect Level 1 having TG. By the time they start production hopefully they have it figured out. I'll wait and see what happens. Should be more info coming out soon as we get closer. I'm preparing myself for an extra long wait in case I have to reorder again later to get the Technology Group.

I built a Big Horn and added all the options I wanted including tech and asg. Mark couldn't order it, restricted ordering. Bumped up to the Limited Longhorn to get all the options I wanted plus the tech/asg. I'm thinking I made a good decision. Someone on this forum mentioned that I might have been able to configure a full Limited at a lesser price. Not sure but I remember that message. Couldn't change order. But I'm thrilled with what I ordered and Mark's discount. Hope my order doesn't change!!
Yes, Limited is less than Longhorn with same options by a considerable amount .. made my decision easier.

I noticed this on Facebook. I choose to believe this reference is to the completion of 2021 models.

That just means "when the plant closes down for the day", not "when we have finished the 2021 production". There are still 2021's being built this week.

Daily update for new additions (@Alex K, @Finley, @4jlcc, @20GladRubicon). This chart is getting a little congested...coming to the point where I might have to take usernames off soon.

You might notice that there's another "gap" in VINs issued over the past few days. I suspect that Stellantis approved a huge pile of dealer/fleet orders again. We are now up to about 65,000 trucks in the queue for production.

So if I'm reading this correctly, my truck is slated to start production around late October/early November, and then arrive at the dealer around the first two weeks of December?

Does anyone have any info on whether or not the old 21 orders will be moved to the front of the line for the 22s...would hate to think that we have to wait till almost Christmas to see a truck that was ordered in the spring.....

I want to make sure you clearly understand what this lookahead is. It's a pure guess, based on some sweeping assumptions:
  • Production starts 9/6, and they build 6000 trucks/week
  • Production is done sequentially by VIN number
  • There are no delays due to parts shortages, Covid, etc.
The main point is that this is speculative. I don't work for Stellantis, and I have no clue what they will prioritize for production. This is just a fun thing to do while we all wait for trucks.

Theoretically, it should give you a general sense of when to expect your truck. But it could be (no, WILL be) significantly off. Some people will get a nice surprise, others won't.

All of that said, and per the chart, you should expect your truck sometime in early December. Might be in November, might be in January or worse...

I was in the same boat but went the other way to a Bighorn so I could add blind spot. When I looked last week my order had not changed. Hopefully it remains.

I hate being truckless and the wait for production to start but I'm still pretty satisfied based on the trade they gave me. When I traded 6 weeks ago, trade value on my Laramie was something like 52-55k. They gave me 52k. Today, its 44-47k. That's a huge drop....but honestly alot more accurate to the real value.
I’m confused now. The Laramie level B had blind spot on it and is shown on the window sticker of 2021s that are still available. But, it’s not shown on my Place Order Confirmation sheet I received from my dealer.
