Did my first oil change since installing my fumoto valve that is supposed to make oil changes easier and less mess. I might have to get a different drain pan because as soon as the oil hit the drain pan, it started splattering everywhere, all over my head and faces almost a 2' radius around the pan. So actually made more of a mess with the oil than just letting it hit sway bar. Finally got the pan centered with the stream so it was hitting the hole in middle and it stopped splattering. Thinking a screen on top or something to reduce splatter, or will have to get a hose that fits over the nipple on valve so it goes straight into drain pan. It just doesn't "flow" out of the valve smooth enough. Waiting on engine to cool down a little more before taking filter off as I use the larger older Hemi filter so take a little more to get it out
There is a drain kit a hose and a plastic piece that snaps on the Val and the hose go’s on and no mess. I put the hose in my drain jug it is great

Yeah, saw that when I ordered the valve. If I would have known it was going to splatter like it did, would have bought it with valve. Tried putting a hose on, but didn't have one I garage that fit over the nipple and would stay on.

Removed and replaced all chrome pieces around the window, R/R all emblems except grille with black, R/R door handles with black. Removed and power coated Rims and tow hooks. Replaced chrome exhaust tips with black chrome tips. On Monday I take to shop to R/R chrome front and rear bumper, grill and a sport‘s hood that will be color matched to the truck. All oem parts with no plastic dip or vinyl wrap.

Once done I will post the completed updated look.

I believe this is the one they are putting on for me..
I saw this option. I hate that you aren't able to use offroad 1 or offroad 2 with these installed. I saw that one of the "Ram Gurus" has been running the Daystar leveling kit. This kit allows you to run all levels of your Air Suspension. https://www.revelperformance.com/lifts/2019-ram-1500-daystar-adjustable-air-sensor-links/

Nice trip. What are you doing with the old pine wood?

He’s testing the factor of safety on the published payload capacity! :ROFLMAO:

Hoping he wasn't gumming up his chimney with that old soft pitch wood. Testing payload is about what it's good for.

lol...for sure, I can report that the Ram did just fine!

Seriously, use the wood for our outdoor pizza oven. Need lots of it; I have a good mix of pine, fir, birch, and juniper!
