I can order a Durango for between 7 and 9% under MSRP minus current incentives (2 dealers have offered that) but as far as getting (any other brand) off the lot that has been reduced, that's a no go.Yeah, because the dealer isn't giving you crap off MSRP on a new one. They're using other sources to make up for discounts.
We also looked at a Hyundai lot, the sales girl said "You can't drive anything unless you are ready to buy".
We walked off...
Then we spent 2 hours at an Acura dealer and drove 2 MDX's and 2 RDX's. The salesman would have earned my business just from his relaxed "concierge" attitude and right up front "If you have a car buying service quote from AAA, Costco etc that can save you 2-2500 right off the MSRP price."
2 Total opposite experiences...
What did he pay? edit: I misread you said "RDX" not TRX...My step dad bought an RDX from the dealer in Burlington. He is very pleased!

What did he pay? I just posted 2 TRX prices from another dealer 40 minutes farther that shocked me... There's Limiteds that cost more...
Depends on the dealer. Depends on the day. Depends on the month. Depends on whether there are any rebates. Depends on whether the dealer is slated for a bonus based off sales. Depends Depends Depends.Just shows not everything is MSRP +
RAV4, ehhhh, no thanks! :-\Yeah, Toyota and Hyundai/Kia seem to be killing it right now in the SUV market. Average time on the lot of a RAV4 is a smidge under 10 days, I read. Probably also explains why I see them popping up on every road I drive.
Woah. Then again, if that’s true, it’ll be priced close to its true competition…hahaI read today that some GM dealers are marking up the new Corvette by $100,000![]()
One reason they are is because there are legit needs. Today I saw an intersection wreck and the cars involved both looked totalled, air bag deployment etc. Now if they had GAP insurance they get the full cost to replace. If they didn't they still have the higher used car values, so the msrp circle continues.People are paying the high prices. I don’t see them ever coming back down.
