I picked up some 3M rally stripes on Ebay. Pretty happy with the look.

I’ve been pondering this for a bit actually…did you have it applied professionally or do it yourself? And if you did it yourself how was it?

Got my truck back from PPF and ceramic. For the PPF, I had them do full hood, full fenders, fender flares, rocker panels, lower part of all four doors (up to the crease), the body colored panels above the bumper. I’ve got the chrome bumpers and mirrors, so I did not have them covered.

Looks great so far. We’ll see how it holds up over time. We got some rain today, so I got to experience the rain sheeting. Not bad! My wife’s car (with no coating) is parked outside because I’ve temporarily taken over the garage for a project I’m working on (and will share here in a few days, hopefully), so I could compare how long it took both to dry. Looks like the coating works.

PPF is Llumar Platinum and ceramic is OptiCoat Pro (not Pro+).

Installed my AJT Shifter Knob and mounted my High Roller tie down bar for the dirt bikes. I made an appointment to get the driver and passenger windows tinted and ordered color matched bumper plugs from Andrew Coggins.

digging that high roller tie down. do you not shut your tailgate when you have a bike loaded?

my bike is too heavy to get into my truck alone so i put tire chalks on my trailer. sure does look good in the bed though.

Not all today, but I got tint and new wheels and tires. Put Madico Black Pearl ceramic all around, 15% on all windows then 70% on windshield and sunroof. Wheels are Vision Manx 2 20x9 +12 offset and 305/55r20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s. Slight rubbing when wheel is turned all the way left or right so I guess I better hurry up and bump the front up!

I’ll also be looking to sell the stock Laramie wheels in the DFW area, so if anybody is looking for that…

Do you have any side shots of your truck? I'm having 15% installed on my truck, so I'm looking for pics before the install. I know the 30% is supposed to match the tint on the back windows, but I've been told that it looks lighter due to the light that comes in through the windshield and/or panoramic sunroof.

No, I leave the tailgate down. Normally there are two bikes in the back of my truck, but even with just my bike I can never think of a good reason to close the tailgate.

Even with the “long” bed I keep my tailgate town.

Is that supposed to be for gas mileage reasons, or what? If I had a quad or bike back there I would do everything I could to close the tailgate

Trucks get better mileage with the tailgate up.
It's a lot easier to just load the bike(s) straight and keep the tailgate down. I just don't see the advantage to having the tailgate closed.

No i just don’t like the bike sitting sideways. Plus I made some chalks for the front of the bed so my bikes sit straight. If I could close it I would. I also don’t like my plastics bouncing around. Don’t want them to crack with the wind.
