I've never ordered a new vehicle. I'm considering it but trying to figure out the logistics of trading or selling my current truck to be replaced with the new one that might arrive 3 months from ordering. I need transportation daily and don't have/don't want an extra vehicle. For those of you whose order is replacing your daily driver, how did you go about that? I can't imagine a dealer locking in a trade offer yet allowing me to continue putting miles on my current truck. And I don't especially like the idea of being bent over a barrel to accept whatever price they want to offer when my truck arrives. Can't just sell ouright ahead of arrival cuz I need something to drive.
i'm still driving my original vehicle and i ordered my RAM 6 months ago(still waiting..). and If anything, my SUV is worth more today than what they offered me in January.

Congrats..What kind of Ram did you order and what was the order date? thanks
Let see who’s get’s their’s built first. I ordered mine on May 4th and vin on the 11th, last I checked still gather parts. I found a list on this forum showing things holding up builds for the limited, it was for me is mft, e-locker, and advanced technology group. I’ll see if I can find it and see the other things that are holding up limited’s. I am guessing you are in Vegas, which we consider the ninth island . So aloha brother. I’ll be moving your way soon but further south, Phoenix. Later and patience.

I can't pronounce his name but this dude took the time to actually help me. He even told me my VIN was wrong because I couldn't find the build sheet or the window sticker. Now I have my build sheet and I'm going to go check for a window sticker! Screenshot_20210611-125851.png

Were you given the wrong VIN on your order paperwork or did you just mistype it?

Here is the article I found last night. It looks like you have a couple more things than mine.

Sounds like for once in my life I ordered the right model (Rebel), with no constraints. Although that is not entirely true, I couldn't get the Tow package with the comfort and convenience package and I couldn't get the trailer camera wiring harness.

Hope he's not going too fast ( break-in period )!!

Thankfully it was towed all the way up! I would have been quite mad if it had any additional miles on it, but it showed up with about 20 miles on it, and quite dirty.

Has anyone recently placed an order, within the last 2 weeks? Please let me know if it was configured as a 2021 or 2022.

The follow up question would be if it mattered when it comes to build it.

Owner of a 2020 Ram Laramie (leveled with 2" rc struts and 1" rear spacer on 33.5" toyo open country) , 16 Dodge Charger scat pack and my wife 21 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara (2.5" rc lift with 35" duratracs)
Ordered last week and was told it had to be a ’22.

So far it is awesome. Haven't had or seen any issues yet (only been few days and 100 miles) so I'm happy to be trouble free at delivery. The interior is great in person (was a little concerned about that due to all the brown, but we all absolutely love it), and I'm also really happy with choosing patriot blue for the exterior. In my short few days with it I've already seen that blue in many different shades.

Driving wise it's great, my 17 ram was starting to have some various issues and had a small chorus of noises at times. It's very nice to be in something completely quiet again.

Edit: Favorite things include the MFT, good headlights, and the tech package.

I have a build sheet!!! Yesterday I had just entered the assembly line and today it's done (so <36 hours to build the truck). I haven't checked Ram Chat yet but I'm assuming it's on to inspection, body vendor, inspection again, then shipping.

Everyone else who ordered from Mark Dodge...how long did it take from assembly/build sheet, window sticker, or start of shipping stage to arrive at the dealership? Need to start planning my trip to Louisiana! :D
