Camera System Unavailable after using DiagFCA / AlfaOBD?

On my new 2021 Longhorn 2500HD Cummins 4x4 last night I finally got in my bypass for the security gateway, plugged it in, activate DiagFCA and tried to activate AlfaOBD (though most things in that one are not working) do so some simple changes such as preventing the fog lights from going off when high beams are switched on, setting my DRL's up, etc. Nothing that had anything to do with the camera system as far as I know yet after I saved it and gave the truck time to update. Now when I put it in reverse or try to use the touch buttons to activate ANY of the camera (Rear, Cargo, Surround, Trailer Tow) I get a pause, then a blue screen saying "Camera System Unavailable", so this morning I went into the menu on the truck and selected RESET on everything one by one. Gave it a few hours, and everything else has came back and working properly, including the changes I'd made, but still the same message on the camera system. The thing is I didn't change anything having to do with the camera systems unless using my touch pad I accidentally bumped something causing it to drag down to a new setting without me realizing (which is why I hate the touch pads on laptops, because that is a possibility though if it happened I certainly didn't notice).

Anyone have any clue what I could have done, and more importantly how to get my cameras working again?

Hopefully you went through the process of reading your original BCM system ID, and saved it to a folder on your laptop before you made any changes. Can you upload your original BCM system ID and your current system ID to two separate google drive files, and post them here so I can see if any other settings are wrong. If you don’t have your original, post your current BCM system ID, and I can still try to figure it out.

Do you mean where it lets you export a text file of the current vehicle settings? Yes I did that before I ever started, just printed it and went thru it line by line (though oddly many things in the actual programming are NOT in the printed list).

Also, what is a "Google Drive File" ...? That's a new one on me, but I don't use a Google phone, I'm using a Windows 10 laptop and now Desktop. Laptop was too big of a PITA so I parked the truck right outside my window near my Desktop which has Bluetooth and now working from the Desktop instead.

Using AlfaOBD, this is what I need to see- https://drive.google.com/file/d/13I6kKWFS-iephr-2uJSR8ZgqLRiXAls9/view?usp=drivesdk
Connect to the BCM like you normally would. Select faults/status tab up top. Select read system ID, and let the list fully populate. Select view log. Inside that log, click file, and save it as whatever to your laptop/desktop. Then, use whatever method is easiest for you to post it as a text file here- uploading it to google drive and sharing it is easiest (for me, anyway).

I'm not using AlfaOBD, I have it but not hardly any of the features was available or worked right with this 2021 truck so I had to switch to using DiagFCA

I can send you the save file from DiagFCA, it looks kinda similar to the thing you posted a link to, I will try and send the original that I saved before I ever did anything and then make a copy of the current config and send to you privately if I can figure out how.

That’s the only way I can help you. Appcar doesn’t have the info I need to see. AlfaOBD works fine on the 2021s. When you try to connect to the BCM, you get a pop up that says something about ECU may not be supported. Just click continue, and it works on the 2021s for all features just like any other year. If you want the help, I’m willing, just follow the steps I posted above and post the log, and I’ll take a look.

I can try it but I will not have a copy of the original configuration from AlfaOBD because I wouldn't let me do anything last night.

OK, Very weirdly.... Had to run some errands in town, got dinner, came home. Still wasn't working. Loaded truck, washed it, still not working. After it finished drying went out to back up to the trailer, and the cameras are all back. No clue why or how, or why they went off in the first place when I hadn't changed anything that should have had anything to do with them.

Well now that the cameras are magically working again all on their own how about another camera-related question... I have never messed with it, and never seen a setting that looked like it would affect it...

But is there a way to keep the cameras either from timing out, or at least from timing out as quickly when going down the road?

In my last (2018) truck if you heard a noise from the hitch area going down the highway and couldn't immediately stop to check it she could always touch the rear camera button and look at the image but it'd time out after like 7 seconds and she'd have to re-activate it a couple of times looking to make sure everything looked out of place. 7 seconds was bad enough but... My new 2021 truck, only gives us about 4 seconds.

Has anyone found a way to prevent the cameras from timing out, or at the very least increase the time they stay on to something more reasonable?

...At least 30-60 seconds would be a major improvement, but any time increase at all would help, especially on this new truck...
