I understand your point of view. The main thing is this feature comes with Laramie Level 1 until they recently removed it because of the chip shortage. I believe part of a larger package $1,795-$1,995 that includes blind spot and cross traffic and a few other goodies. My wife has a 2017 Acura MDX with blindspot albeit much smaller in scale it is a "niceitie" that gets utilized for us.
I'm starting to wonder what the street value is for my truck, which was built in Nov and bought at the end of January. I have the full technology group and advanced safety group.

I can tell you that there are ABSOLUTELY blind spots! The Laramie is HUGE. While it is one owner's impression that the mirrors are fine, I'd counter that it depends incredibly on your state of mind, traffic situation, and intent whether or not you locate any drivers around you. I have the trailer mirrors which are large and they have the convex blindspot mirrors outboard, but they're easy to overlook, especially on the passenger side. For whatever reason, the primary mirror on the right side reflects objects larger or somehow lacking the true position vs. reality. And that mirror is obviously the bigger one. Unless you train yourself that, hey, I now have both the standard and the convex blindspot mirrors on both sides, your instinct is to simply focus on the standard mirror. And you normally move casually in traffic, you can't do that with this truck. You have to be aggressively proactive, due to its size. Honestly, the little yellow triangles lighting up to say someone is there can be overlooked as well.

Every tool is going to help, and none should be dismissed. Lives are at stake.

This is what is pushing me to the Limited - the Blind Spot and Advanced Safety Group are almost must haves for me being a first time truck buyer (well soon to be anyways)

I didn't get the Advanced Safety Group for one reason. My wife has it in her Lexus and when she had to get her windshield replaced, covered under insurance, Lexus wanted to charge $500 to calibrate that entire system again. Living in Arizona we get a lot of rock chips in our windshields and cracks from rocks, so we go through windshields quite often. That's not an expense I want to take on and a system I can live without.

Insurance picks up the recalibration so why the big deal?

I’m working on finalizing my build - quick question for those of you with Limiteds. Is the extra $1300 worth the Limited Level 1 vs the Auto Safety Package? Appears the only difference is Harmon Karden speakers and ventilated rear seats. I’m not trying to cheapen out but wondering if this is worth it (I can always add in upgraded speakers later and I don’t really care about ventilated rear seats)

Since I sold my Big Horn to Carmax and it was the end of the month I thought I'd reach out to my "local" dealer (Safford of Warrenton, VA) on a Rebel I've seen on their lot for a while and see if they'd work a deal. Here's the deal they came back with:

Needless to say I called BS on them trying to add the destination in again along with their Accessory package. Definitely seeing what others are saying about local dealers.

Yep. Too much BS extra on that list. Tell them you want to see the Invoice Price of the vehicle. There is more than $500 in incentives. The MSRP price already has the Destination fee added so not sure wtf they are trying to pull. I'd walk away.

I just ordered a limited with a night package and auto safety package (ASP). Since the Harmon speakers come with the night package, it adjusted the price so there was only a $600-700 difference between Level 1 and ASP. I didn’t think rear vented seats were worth that much, hence why I chose ASP.

Ginsburg just stayed till 8:30 (close at six) to get my deal done, and is working another one.

21% off MSRP.

HATED to buy a Limited and am sick with myself for not buying the ones I looked at late last year for 7K less. (Laramies with Advanced Safety Group)

Cannot say enough good things about the man. I overanalyze everything. I started looking in December.

Safe yourself the headaches. Call Ginsburg

I’m also very interested. Wonder if we’ll see the 0% go away or not.
Aaron from Mark Dodge indicated that he heard that overall incentives would get worse (just like they did from Feb to March). He suspected we might also see the 0% go away as well. I got my order in with him today & locked in the current incentives. Great experience working with Aaron!

I wanted the tech package. When I added that on the website build, I had to add Level 1, or I would have just chosen the Advanced Safety Group for the same reasons you mentioned. I ended up buying a 2021 Limited in stock, which had the Tech package, Level 1, Trailer Tow Group and pano roof. My two favorite features at the moment are the adaptive cruise and the heads up display.

Man I hope I didn’t screw up not getting my order in but I just had a gut feeling the incentives would get better by summer and i like knowing what I’m getting since you can lock in incentives...

Hope it’s not a sign for tomorrow but I replicated the same build into the Ram website and the price went up $1250 (same zip code same build)
