Well, this is embarassing

Man, that's a bummer. I hope its an easy fix. Reminds me of my old Porsche Cayenne TT. Half of my time of ownership, it seems the either the brake failure light or steering failure lights were on. These were common issues that plagued the early trucks, and caused me to sell it once the warranty was used up.

This is the message you get when you enable the auto parking brake. Brake is misspelled.

Well maybe someone has a sense of humor, I hope thats it , lol

I wonder if this issue is also on the 8.4 screen? Someone check, please.

Must not have added the spell-check option!

Seriously, where's the quality control? Break pedal?!

@RamCares - FYI

Photo says it all. Some FCA software engineer typed "break pedal" into the UConnect code when it should be "brake pedal."

Hi Darlene,

Its a picture of the 12 inch screen showing a message for brake service.

The text says "Park Brake retracted. To reset, Press break pedal and activate Park Brake Switch"

The work "break" that I highlighted is the wrong word...it should be brake.

Thank you, 202snowman. I would like to forward this internally. If someone is willing to send a private message with the photo, it would be greatly appreciated.
