I will try to keep this brief. I just want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience.
-If I lower my air to E/E inside the cab, it raises normally when truck exceeds 20 mph
-If I lower it with the remote, I have to raise it twice with the switch to get it out of E/E into Aero. It will not go up based on vehicle speed.
-This weekend, I suddenly got a "service air suspension immediately" warning, and it wouldn't let me select anything but it felt deflated.
- I parked it in a warm garage Saturday, and when I went out to it Monday morning, it leaned toward left front.
-It allowed me to select it from Aero to E/E, but not select any other heights, and was going up and down on a slant.
-Also it was trying to dump the bag that was being forced up by the low corner until the thermal protection on the pump kicked in.
It is currently at the dealer for repair. As a loaner, they gave me a V6 Rebel. It is the same model year but obviously newer production. Its air suspension does not act the same as mine. If I lower it by remote, it will raise up as soon as I am going fast enough. Has anyone else had these kind of problems? If so, was it software? Body control module? update? They have had my truck all week, but all they've tried so far is thawing it inside like I did. their "master tech" has to finish something else before he can look at mine.

Also on a side not, why does the Rebel only get 4 height levels? Is it to do with the large tires? driveline? Is there a way to active "off-road 2" in the rebels with optional parts, and get even more clearance?

Sounds like your dealer should get you sorted. The key fob unpredictability regarding Entry/Exit has been documented in earlier threads. Same with the 4 levels; the Rebel (and trucks with the ORG) sit 1” higher (where Normal = Off Road 1 on other trucks), so there’s only 1” left of additional height for the air springs on Rebels and ORG trucks.

I have no experience with the air ride on the 5th gen but on the 4th gen sometimes they would need recalibration . Not a common issue but I’ve read about it .

These two may be normal for the air suspension. My 2019 did this same thing, but I have not yet tested this on my 2021. I'll try that tomorrow.

I suspected it was because tyey had to move everything "up one level" for the tires, but wasn't sure.

Is there a way to "user recalibrate" or is it a dealer issue?

If you are leaning - then the leveling sensor may be damaged or iced up.

There are reports in cold/icy climates of these getting jammed up - running the pump, draining the battery and exhausting the nitrogen tank.

So to update anyone following this thread, we have identified the issue. I have posted greater detail in a thread titled "a lesson in hitches". Long story short, I had a hitch "professionally" installed, in which they pushed the wiring harness for the rear suspension up against the exhaust, melting the wires.

Hopefully the hitch company is paying for your repair.
