Nobody’s window sticker mentions the off-road group. However, under the Built-to-Serve package, you’ll see all of the components listed that are found in the off-road group.

Others have had the same problem, but have made headway by reaching out to Debbie, who will then get in touch with your preferred dealer to get the ball rolling.
How do I get a hold of this unicorn they call Debbie? I just came off a 2019 Rebel 5.7 and now in a BTS Eco Diesel. Got the AB springs and want to get this sorted out before I install my Falcon Suspension.

Thanks

Just call Ram Customer Care. Open a ticket. It's so common now you should have no issues.

@Krootz Wish you would've gotten in touch with us before you went. The reason that happened is because the person who built your truck just scanned those springs and attached them to your Vin. Exact same thing happened to me when I went. Then Debbie emailed me and she reached out to my dealer for me. I will say I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them eat **** after they treated me like I was crazy when I brought it to their attention before Debbie got involved.

That’s where I went wrong, I should have called her first. I thought the dealership would just see the problem and make it right.
I’ll get ahold of Debbie and hopefully get this put to bed

Thanks Ape! Opened a ticket yesterday and today they assigned a manager to me. Hope it goes quick!

@CJR28 did you get the right ORP springs put on yet? I’d love to see a picture of your truck once you get em on.

I spent some time going through the threads, but am finding conflicting info for this question...

Does anyone know the color name or code for the blacked-out grill and bumper for the BTS trucks? I have found one reference to RXF, but when I look it up, I am finding no such info. I did find the PXF which is the same color they use on the JK black hard-top. I am hoping that someone already knows the answer. Thanks in advance! IMG_2392.jpg

Called @RamCares and spoke with "Gagan" (after leaving a message with Debbie.) I was interested in opening a case and getting the ball rolling. I gave the rep the part number of the incorrect non-ORP coil spring that was on my truck when I bought it. I gave the rep the part number to the correct ORP coil spring that SHOULD be on the truck. I explained that the wrong coil springs (68320236AB) are associated with my VIN and the dealership can't/won't do anything because that part number pulls up with the VIN as "correct."

The RAMcares rep told me take it to the dealer and talk to the manager...yeah, I did that already. The VIN matches to the incorrect coil spring installed at the factory, and said it's the "right" part

I asked him to escalate the case, and get this.....he said NO!
I was like lol...what? Dude, just escalate it. You said yourself you don't know what to do! Why WOULDN'T YOU escalate this?! He said "because the dealer confirmed it's the right part."
OK but what if, stay with me here, what if it's wrong by some weird unfortunate mistake. He said he didn't believe that they were incorrect.

I can't make this up

I got what I wanted with the opened case (#77127290) but that dude is the worst! Hopefully I'll get a call back from Debbie and get this handled the right way.

Just wanted to rant

Yea finally installed, ill take a picture as soon as possible. If you look back I posted several after having the 5100s&5160s installed with new stock springs. The ORP springs gave me similar lift without any settling(so far).

No new Anvil or Billet Silver owners coming forward yet? Curious how pricing will be since deals in general seem to have tightened up. Might go looking this weekend.

And apparently do some crawling under to verify springs and shocks. Curious if this next batch is coming out washed of Your guys’ spring-gate.

We've seen some Anvil in the Facebook group. Haven't seen a billet silver yet. Deals seems to have definitely tightened up w/ people mentioned dealer mark ups on the BTS.

Yea those of us that scored early BTS trucks really made out good it seems. I have a few friends in the market and they cant seem to find anything decent available. I have zero regrets and I’m thankful i pulled the trigger when I did

New “employee pricing for all” for Big Horns through November for RAMs Black Friday deals. I built a BTS in the website for like $7K under MSRP with like $2K in rebates too

Tell your friends to check it out, I know I have a couple that want one now after seeing mine.

Got an email from Debbie and she already called the dealer and paved the way for me to get the correct ORP springs! She was able to see the case I opened and ran with it. She said she got some push-back from the service department, but in the end she had them order the correct parts. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall for that conversation lol.

Thanks for all the help yall! @CJR28 @c0mbatVet @Grape_Ape

I am new here, but have been a forum user on every forum i had a car for.

I just picked up a 2021 BTS in Anvil. It is a really nice colour. I thought it was blue, then it changed to grey. it is just so nice.
I traded in a GTI for the tuck. and let me tell you, going from a small hatch to a big truck is just so awesome. I am 6'2" and bigger, so the truck is much more my size.

I do not know if i got the best deal in the world, but i got 0%, so its all going to work out.

I have 80 miles on it so far. I have been reading so many thing here it is hard to keep it all straight.
What are all these spring issues people are talking about?
and what else should i check ?

Love this site also BTW.

Welcome to the forums. The spring issue is that a bunch of us did not have the proper ORP springs installed from the factory on our trucks. Short version - if you have 0249AC or 0250AC springs you're fine. You may even have 2051AC springs or something similar.

Glad you enjoy your truck. We're basically twins in build and I drive a '13 Mazda 3 Hatchback as my commuter to work every day. So I definitely know the feeling!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the new truck!

As for the spring issues, In a nutshell, some of the early BTS trucks were delivered with the incorrect non-off road springs. These springs make the trucks sit about 1” higher than the normal springs. The best and easiest way to check to see if you have the correct springs is to go out the truck and find the white sticker on each spring with the part number. You’re looking for either the numbers ending in 0249AC (front) or 2686AB (rear). These are the off-road springs. See the attached chart showing the incorrect/correct part numbers with the asterisks.

So far I haven’t come across any Anvil owners who have had the incorrect springs, so hopefully the factory has gotten their act together.

Also correct numbers are 0250AC front and 2684AB rear, thats what my truck was fitted with after my non ORP springs [0237AB and 2680AB] were replaced.

congrats on the new pickup. Did they by chance have any silver BTS ones?

I’m thinking of pursuing one of these, torn between colors. Silver has been my first choice for getting a 5th gen and it seems slick in this BTS package.
But there is a less loaded Anvil one due to arrive soon.
