I asked for floor mats to be included with my truck purchase. Mopar floor mats were on back order so I agreed to Weathertech floor liners. They are HORRIBLE!!!. Very thin plastic. Doesn't even fit well. Covers the door sill. just not happy. For those that own them do you have any opinions?

Heat gun 'em to make 'em fit?

Had 'em in the Tundra, wasn't impressed especially for the price. Had Husky liners in the 2500 and they were a far superior product than WT and the price was spot on. Thank Goodness the Rebel came with the Mopar mats.

Very disappointed in mine. The replacement was as bad as the original. Thin, flimsy, covers trim, does not fit well.

Wow, thats terrible. I wonder if you heated them up with a heat gun or hair dryer if they would form into place properly. That said if it was me I would probably just return them.

I too dislike Weathertech mats. Ive bought 2 sets and never again. They fit ok, but they warp too easy and are very thin and not very pliable. The Ram factory mats are awesome!

I bought the Weather Tech front mats and my mats lay flat at the door sill. I was expecting a different type rubbery material. The WT mats are stiff, the advantage is that stiffness allows debris to stay on the mat when it is removed but the softer mats are comfortable to the feet.. Edit: After looking at the original post picture and my picture there is evidence in the tread pattern that two different injecting dies were used. WT may have found a fit problem and corrected it. If so I would ask for a replacement mat. Weather Tech.jpg

I have never owned Husky mats but owned weathertechs in my Durango. I have the Mopar rubber mats today. I would pick the Mopar mats over the weather tech mats 10 times out of 10.

The weather techs did their job but never had that durable quality feel. They felt thin and were very slippery (especially after being cleaned/rinsed down).

The Mopar rubber mats feel sturdy, have fantastic grip and in my opinion just look way better. Having the RAM molded into them is awesome.

Dont want to kick up a dead thread, but I just received a set of rough country mats. Ticker and more coverage than weather tech. It's late here, but if anyone is interested, I can take some pics in the AM

Ok, I f-ed up.

I bought Weather Tech fronts for my Ram, I thought the cocoa color would blend nicely with my Blk/ New Saddle Int. My wife was right, they don't match. I haven't used them so I'm going to return them.

Now I need to get a suitable replacement in black.

The Mopar set is $169 on ebay, or
Backorder Mopar set $150 shipping inc. or Mopar set w/ the red logo $150 available now
Husky weather beaters $110 fronts only, $214 front and rear- overstockgarage.

Ebay is not looking so bad. I'm not sure the red logo would look good in my truck.

Mopar set $129 ebay delivered, no tax.

My only issue w/ the Mopar set is the two piece rear. I mostly haul stuff, not people in the back.

edit I thought the rear had a tray effect, it seems to lay flat. Probably ORDERED w/ mopar on ebay below.

I hated the WeatherTechs in my car. Eventually replaced them with Aries and loved them. It isn't rubber or plastic, but completely waterproof. https://www.ariesautomotive.com/accessories/styleguard-xd-floor-liners

I looked at the Aries linked above for the Ram and they only have it available for the classic currently. They said expect the new models to be made in the next 1-2 months.

Soooo, in the meantime, I bought a cheaper Goodyear rubber set from Advance Auto parts. Honestly it is is pretty decent coverage wise in the front after trimming. Not perfect, as you can see in the middle towards the bump. But a decent temporary solution until I can get my hands on the Aries.
