TRX Is up on build and price. Want level 2? $80k+

It also looks like if you want the HUD, you have to have the level 2 equipment group!

I played with the build page. This is the highest I could get.

My 2014 Grand Cherokee had standard paddle shifters--I hated those things, never used them.

My build came up to $91,400. I am thinking about trading my '17 diesel on the trx or possibly a hellcat redeye.
I would still have my '20 longhorn 1500 and '19 laramie diesel dually so am torn on another truck or car.

I'm thinking that's not an accident.

I think all the makers were racing to the $100,000 truck, and Ram wanted to get theirs there with a fully loaded TRX

You're gonna have to put it on a credit card ;)
Wish you could.
When I bought my Limited I tried to purchase it outright with my Amex to get the points (it would have netted me ~4,000,000, points, which would have been nice) but the max they would do $5k, so that’s what I did :(

When the Viper was launched (1992?), you could click “Buy Online” if you had a credit card with a ridiculous limit (and it would have been, 20 years ago)!

I'm loving how the TRX looks. And I would gladly pay upwards of $60k for a truck that looks like that. Trouble is I really don't want the hellcat engine or need the off-road goodies. It's awesome that Ram now has a Raptor killer. But how many people will actually drop $80k+ on this? I'm sure there will be people who can afford to buy something like this, but I don't see how they'll be able to keep this going without offering lesser versions of it.

325/65 tires. That's awesome.

And the 48-11 t-case. Guess the clutches aren't a problem for off road after all.

The Ram 1500 TRX uses a BorgWarner 48-13 full-time active transfer case

It is a good bit different set up than the one used in the Bighorn Laramie and Limited

Ah I see, they're using the 48-13 which is basically the 11 with slightly beefed up bearings and clutches.

I still think it's interesting they went that direction, since all the talk has been about clutch-based cases not being good for heavy off-road use.

The issue isn't the clutches...it is the program for pressure and release cycles. The transfer case in Bighorn Laramie limited has been designed for on road comfort and driver error.

Unfortunately, when you turn the truck market into the station wagon market...this is the price truck users pay

My only questions is : will the wheels and tires fit on a Laramie with the ORG? That's the only thing I want from this truck.

Anyone tried to order yet? My dealer says the only thing in Dealer Connect right now is the launch edition.
