I know you probably can't go into the details, but when you do a replacement under the lemon law, what happens if you've installed thousands of $$ on accessories, some which can't be removed. Do they compensate you for that?

I was just going to say almost precisely what stuartv said. I think it depends on state and possibly on your negotiation. If they voluntarily take your car back, they can spruce it up and resell it with a clean title. That’s the way many lemon law cases go. They are settled before the car is actually deemed a lemon. This saves the dealer/manufacturer a bunch of money. If it goes all the way to court and is declared a lemon, then it’s out in the title which obviously makes it useless and increases your negotiating power. That may also vary by state. Should be fairly easy to research the particulars for each states lemon law.

Installed a Diamondback SE and OPT7 light bar. Loving them both. I'll have to test the light output in reverse. I'll post a photo later tonight. The Diamondback is solid, but hard to close the tailgate when the lid is locked.

Bar is sexy. Would like to see the area it lights up behind it. Was thinking about getting one but hooking the reverse to a switch also so l could turn it on without being in reverse for rear lighting

I think you might have that backwards. I think the consumer has maximum negotiating power before they file the initial LL paperwork. The manufacturer doesn't want that paperwork to even start. Once it's officially a lemon, you have no negotiating power at all. At that point, they're going to give you exactly what the law requires and not a penny more.

I think we are saying the same thing. What I meant was when you start the paperwork the dealer/manufacturer does not want it to be declared a lemon therefore the current owner will have negotiating leverage up until the day of arbitration. Once arbitration concludes and/if it is declared a lemon, it is a done deal.

Interesting on difficulty closing the tailgate, I know we have different trucks but mine closes easily. Perhaps the cover is too far back or compressed to much? It looks great though and I’m kinda liking the light bar.

I had the same issue and needed to just slightly loosen how tight I had the cover on

Installed Bora spacers tonight. 1.5 FRT 2.0 Rear. It was dark by the time I got finished so while doing the post-install test drive, I stopped and took pics under some light for reference. I am posting quite a few pics, but I know people considering spacers might like to see lots of angles to see if its the look they want. Side note, I had some slight rubbing at full lock in reverse (and occasionally in forward) on "normal" suspension mode after I installed the 305/45/22 NRG. With the spacers, now I have no rubbing -- forward, backward, at full lock, even in entry-exit mode. This is not why I added the spacers, but that's an added bonus

How's the ride after you added the spacers? Nice truck btw!

De-valved the AC Hack now that cooler temps are here to stay. Maybe FCA will have an AC fix by next Spring. BAWAHAHAHAHA...sometimes I really crack myself up!
