Does your ANC still function properly? I've noticed that some harnesses bypass the ANC.
Can you provide a PN# for the PAC harness?
No im pretty sure the ANC is disabled though i have not noticed a single difference in cabin noise. Everything is as quiet as it was, no extra engine noise that ive heard about other harnesses. The part number is PAC ANC-CH01. It just became available a few weeks ago im told. I had one of the first ones sent out im told.

You still do have to splice into the speaker wires on the harness for the LOC but you can do it easily outside the car and just plug it in. And can be easily unplugged and the truck.is back to stock in a minute

A while back, a celebrity was killed in his grand Cherokee because he left it in gear while getting his mail and a few weeks or months later an update was pushed. Agreed the functionality is very frustrating

That was Chekhov!

Just spoke to a PAC tech support guy, he said if you hook up a LOC pre-ANC, like right behind the stereo, that it will have zero effect on the amp/sub.
He said most have issues with this because they tap into the rear speakers, via post ANC.
I don't believe it...

do you know who you talked to? I know the people that work there. That is incorrect, tell me what radio and stereo you have, I’ll let you know what you need.

His name is Ernie.
I have the 8.4 non nav base 6 speaker set up.
With this little nightmare under the driver's seat.

Ernie is the head guy, is a MECP Master installer, and helps write the MECP books, so I would trust him lol. Makes a lot more sense that you have non-amplified, that what I get for posting after putting a few back haha. If you want to amplify the whole system, the AP4CH41r2 would be the best option, as it gets you a true flat signal and by-passes the ANC completely.

I have a few that are annoying like the shaking at highway speeds but the worst is probably the wind noise with these trucks. It's very loud on the interstate and the wind noise happens to show up around 35mph. Rear doors always sound like the windows are down. Overall the truck is not very quiet, I feel like my 09 ram was quieter.

Hi JRadford43,
We are sorry to hear about your recent wind noise concern. If additional assistance is needed while working with your dealer, we are available through private message.

Pedals.

I can never find good foot position. My foot always jumping around in search for pedals. I am driving daily BMW with Organ gas pedal where my foot rests mostly in the same position.

Worst thing about my truck? That I couldn’t get it traded to another dealership so I had to buy it at the worst dealership in the area.

it would be nice if they fixed the radio bugs but other than that I love it. Definitely the nicest vehicle I’ve owned

I hate this! I was trying to back my trailer in with the door open and a foot on the running board to see how far back I was and it kept going out of gear. Anyone know how to defeat this?

Keep your foot on the brake lightly. The safety feature only activates if your foot leaves the brake pedal as far as I know

Hard to find genuine annoyance with my truck. It makes me smile every time I start her up or walk towards her.

The only annoyance I think is that the mileage is way lower than my 4th gen from ‘17. It’s weird... just cannot get close to advertised numbers. I get the same at highway speeds or cruising in the city.

I should have gotten the Laramie, or researched the BigHorn options first. The proximity FOB that does not unlock the door when approaching the truck just bugs me. I should have waited until the 2020's came out as I broke my own rule by buying a first-year model change vehicle.

Ditto, drives me crazy the Bighorn/Lonestar doesn't have this. Even the low end Charger SXT has it!

Non power tow mirrors.

nothing is more annoying than having to run around the truck if I'm by myself and pulling into tight spaces or a carwash or something.

This. Drives me crazy. For a truck with so many bells and whistles (and the price tag to match), I can't believe the tow mirrors are not power. I picked my truck off the lot, and it happened to have the tow package. I didn't have to have it, and honestly, I didn't realize what a pain in the butt it is not having power fold mirrors. I am constantly walking around the truck folding them in (in parking spaces, backing into my garage, car wash, etc.). Far and away my biggest (and just about my only) disappointment. Won't buy a truck without power mirrors again.

Clip the seatbelt behind you and it works! Just did it. I can put one foot on the step and use the other one for accelerator/brake

The thing that disappoints me most is I've had 3 wheel alignments since buying the truck and it still pulls to the right and the wheel is off to left. I was hoping to have a truck that would be straight as an arrow down the road. Nope my rebel has pulled right since day one.
