2019 Ram 1500 4x4 Limited

MSRP 66,500

Got them down to 49K

So it helps if you break these down into the price of the MSRP, Price of truck after dealer discount, incentives, and then fees....and possibly what state you are in. Also when the deal happened.

Looks like a fantastic deal. Congrats.

Not sure I should post this as trades are a big deal here as we pay sales tax on the difference.

2019 Ram Longhorn MSRP $67,770 I think
Sales price $49,500
Traded 2018 Hellcat Challenger, drew an additional $5,500 from the dealer, paid only license fee, no sales taxes

Hard to say. I think the best deals have come and gone with the 15% thing. I’ve never seen such a beast.

IMO people should ease up on worrying about their deals, just get what you want and don’t over pay. Who cares if it’s 20% 25% 30%. Just make sure you aren’t getting hosed. That’s the purpose of this thread before it became a pissing match about who got what deals, which are all unconfirmed at that. Without seeing every deal, you can’t really be sure what’s what.

Hello all,

First time post. My 2009 1500 Laramie that I bought new with Lifetime Warranty - ugghhh - was stolen last week. So I'm unexpectedly in the market. I think I want the 2020 cause I would like to try the 3rd gen ecodiesel. So I'm looking for which SoCal dealer will give me the best % off a custom order. I'll just send them what I want and cut a check. Don't care about delivery time, just best price for options I want. Willing to drive 100 miles to pick up. Previouesy I've always bought off the lot but the Eco Diesel not avail 2019 or even on the lot 2020 yet. Any recommendations? Thanks, Matt

I got right at $12K off of a Ram 1500 Limited with MSRP right at $68K. Final price was right around $56K. It was year end pricing so little haggling and they gave me right at what I expected for Trade in. Looks like some got better deals but I was happy. They also still had adequate inventory so I was able to get one I wanted. It was early September 2019.

Man, I remember my first pickup was a loaded 2000 Ford F150 Lariat which was $26K! Man these things have gotten expensive, Or I've gotten old, or both!

Not to beat a dead horse but June was actually 20% off MSRP.

Making sure you don't get hosed is important but keeping your benjamins is right up there especially when most are paying off these costly depreciating items with 5 to 8 year auto loans. Being patient and getting in at the best entry price benefits the owner all the way around. I bet there's another nice discount before year's end.

I figured I can take the 3-5% depreciation hit for the first year... dealer takes 17.12% hit... I don’t know if that’s accurate but... in my mind it’s good... so, I guess that’s all that matters

Question: Which option would yield the best purchase price? 1) Using Friends and Family or 2) getting the dealer down to 20% off MSRP

Just curious: out the door for $36.1 for 2019 classic 4wd, quad cab, new (67miles), V6 no etorque, more options than I will ever be able to figure out how to use. Is that a good deal? My only complaint is that I cant figure out how to turn off the seat belt not being used noise, and cant find a fuse to pull to shut it down. Does anyone know how to disable the seat belt indicator/noise?
