2019+ Rams with Lifts/Levels, and/or aftermarket wheel tire setups

For those who have had to try to decide between a 0 or +1 offset or a -15 to -19 what made you choose the offset you have? I’m trying to determine if a -15 to -19 will be too much and end up with mud all down the side of my truck and if a 0 or +1 won’t be enough difference from the stock offset.

I wound up with a 20x9.5 -6...will post pics soon

Depends how much you want it to poke out or not.
Your stockers are +19, so if you aren't adding any width by going with a wider wheels or a wider tire then use that as a gauge.
If you want it to line up with the fenders then 0/1 is more of your offset.
-15 ... -25 will stick out.

I have -25 and it sorta lines up with the oem flares. so for me it is perfect. I also went with a 305 wide tire.

I think thats my dilemma.. I kind of want to throw on a set of OEM fender flares because all of the other fender options are way too wide. But I need to do that before I get wheels. Im trying to get the wheel to line up with the fender or 1/4" outside.

Then go with 0 or no more than -12 on a 9" wide.

Yes it will make a difference, adding an inch to a wheel adds 12.7mm per side. So, not only will a 0 offset 10" poke out 12.7mm (1/2") more on the outer edge, it will also reduce your clearance to your control arm by 12.7mm (see attached). I think a 20x10 0 offset is near perfect as it would be roughly the same as a 20x9 -12. That offers a good little poke past a stock fender flare. I don't think any wheel manufacturer makes a 20x10 0 offset, asthe highest offset I have seen on a 20x10 is a -12. I think i've seen about every wheel on the whole internet.

The best way to think about offset is as the number gets smaller, thats the amount the wheel goes outboard. Stock is a 20x9 (or 18x9, 22x9...rebel may be different) with a +19 offset. if that number shrinks to a 0, it goes 19mm further away from the hub. And, as it goes negative it gets even further away, thus adding poke. Once you add poke though you reduce the scrub radius and run the risk of hitting your wheel wells. All a balance...

Appreciate the information! I think I’m probably going to like the 20x10 with a 0 offset. With or without fender flares I think it’ll look good.

Unfortunately all the 20x10 are a -18 to -24 offset. If you find a 0 let me know!

Hey everyone, newbie here. Just picked up a 2019 Laramie Sport 4x4. First RAM, converted over from GMC trucks.

I'm surprised I didn't see a 4" BDS setup in here (but I could have missed it). Debating between the Readlyift 3.5" and the BDS 4". Obviously a big price difference due to the number of components involved. Plan on doing 10" wide wheels on 35" tires.
