Good news, glad it's being resolved for some!I just got approval from FCA Ram to get finder flairs repainted on warranty. Took it to dealer last week with 2000 miles, bottom 1/3 of rear flairs had paint chipped off.

Yup mine look the same after 2,000 miles.
Two trips to the ski area did it. I regret not adding paint protection right after I bought the truck, too late now...
I’m considering LineX-ing the flares and lower rocker panels.
Leading edge of rear flare and quarter panel in front of the leading edge.I'm getting the full front of the truck PPF'd later this week. After reading this thread, I'm considering asking them to do the the rear too. Is it just the fender flare that people are having issues with? Just the leading edge or the whole thing? What about the front portion of the rear quarter panel?
How many miles have you put on with this setup and have you noticed any chipping?Fingers crossed the combo of weather tech flaps and GoRhino Dominator D6 boards keep it chip free.
I just bought my Limited 3 days ago and went out to check my rear fenders after reading through this thread. I noticed that the bottom front section of the rear fenders look like they have some sort of film/sticker on them. (You can see the horizontal lines where it start/stops)
Looking through the photos on this thread I didn't see any one else's fenders have this. It's a May '19 build. Do you think it's for protection from this?
I thought it should go up higher too. My truck didn't sit on the dealer lot for long, maybe 2 weeks, I think it came from the factory like that.Yep, but it doesn't go nearly high up enough IMO. I wonder if the dealer did that or if FCA started to do that from the factory....
4500, not one chipHow many miles have you put on with this setup and have you noticed any chipping?
Mine was built May 2019 and I bought it before it hit the lot...dealer didn't get a chance to put his name on the back yet...lol. Anyway, mine has that little strip as well. Now I just have to make sure I aim all the rocks at that strip lol.I thought it should go up higher too. I have the WeatherTech flaps and the retracting running boards. I don't think flaps are the issue, it's the protection of the fixed running boards.
