Wanted a little more noise so had a FlowMaster 40 installed. Gave it a little more growl but still fairly quite on the highway. Not the best clip but kind of an idea of the sound.

Started with the basics, Xpel XR Plus Ceramic tint all the way around including windshield and pano sunroof.

Assuming you're from Texas.. are you from the DFW area? When I was shopping for the truck I wanted it to look exactly like yours along with the 4x4 and the pano. The one I was going to buy ended up being sold literally 30 mins before I could get there. Had to settle with one without the pano. No complaints really but it was little heart breaking because it was so hard to find that exact spec with the ramboxes unless you order your truck of course.

Any drone issues?

Not that I’ve noticed. With the radio playing at a lower level I can’t really hear the exhaust while cruising around. Definitely more quite with 40 series FlowMaster’s then on previous vehicles. I imagine the resonators are keeping the sound down.

I'm getting Llumar ceramic tint installed right now. Clear on the front and 15 all the way around. My rears and sliding were already dyed, so it will be equivalent of like 5 for them.

Had the windows tinted on the front to match the back and had the rear window tinted to 5%. No tinting on the windshield. 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg Plus removed the dealer advertising on the rear plate and added a blacked out flag on hitch.

Bought a Fibrobec cap today (rebranded ARE as far as I know) and went to Ziebart for a diamond gloss shine. Now I'll start shopping for winter rims and tires.

Undercover Armor Flex tonneau cover was installed today.

I have been saving up for this cover and I’m so happy with it. I just could not buy the Bak flip because it would ride against my cab. This cover stands straight up when fully folded.

Now our gear is secure and covered for our vacation trip in a few weeks.

I’ve wanted to do this but I’m concerned with what will happen if I get pulled over by the police for a speeding ticket. Will they likely give me a ticket for the tinting being darker than what the law states? I’ve no experience with this and I don’t want a ticket magnet.

Varies by state and area within the state. PA is ridiculous in that you can pass state inspection with the windows painted black but can get pulled over for anything over stock (i.e. nothing) 5 minutes later.

Local Police in the (ahem) "nicer" areas have basically given up on enforcement because ppl can afford the $98 fine. PA State troopers may still enforce but only if you're really a **** to them.

It's all over the place but I think I've onky been pulled over once for tint in nearly 25 years of driving here. Cop ended up being a friend of a friend and lost the citation before turning it in.

As I get older I do think lighter is better and less ghetto unless you're in FL, TX, etc

Why does it matter if you’re in FL, TX, etc.?
