Bought the 2019 limited 1500 7 months ago. Worst Truck I've ever owned, one recall after another, things breaking or coming apart in the vehicle, GPS stopped working, clunky transmission.. Hard shifting, slips gears, or wont shift at aall causing the engine to dog... I hate driving it.
I regret this purchase, this vehicle is NOT worth the price or the headache.

Yeah, my Limited has had uhh, a problem with ac as reported and the dreaded 2-1 downshift stutter. Almost completely undrivable between the two. I feel your pain there Cheated.

My previous truck was an F150. Why don’t you get the truck washed up really nice and go over to Ford during their employee pricing month, which is July? Those F150’s sure look nice and even theough a Platinum is about 10-15K more than that el crapo Limited Ram, you’ll be much happier. Besides, it says “Platinum” on it and everybody knows that’s higher than merely Limited. Hell I’ve seen Ford Escapes with “Limited” on them. The F150 also has a higher payload, by at least 300# on most 4x4 CC models, which trading off the ride quality makes for braggin’ rights. I’d recommend getting the 5.0 V8 as opposed to the ecoboost motors, there’s a true V8 sound instead of what Ford piped in to simulate the V8. Oh and they have at least 3 rear gear options to choose from, trim level dependent. Another plus over RAM. 33% more gear ratios available!

Post up a pic of the new Platinum for us.

Sorry you are having Issues.. But please don't speak for the VAST majority of people that have zero issues with the truck.
My Longhorn is trouble free.. every single thing works as advertised.. Yes they forgot to put a piece of chrome on the drivers side window sill,
But I am not going to scream to the gods on what a piece of **** I got.. These are mass produced.. You are going to get a bad one every now and then..
Like they say in combat.. Better you than me..

I've had nothing but problems with my Limited, too:
- The AC fan slowed down once for 30 sec or so for no reason. I almost died, probably.
- Once in a while, Uconnect voice recognition picks the wrong song.
- The fan in the ventilated seat made a funny noise once, until I turned it off and back on.
- All the nanny safety features won't let me stand in the bed and drive while operating the controls with ski poles and a tow strap.
- Birds seem to like to poop on it, so I have to wash it all the time.
- Doesn't get 40mpg.

What a POS.

I have owned my Ram for 1 month and will have 4,500 miles on it after tomorrow. I added the A/C hack and had to have the sunroof adjusted for wind noise but that's the only warranty/build issues I have had from any of the 5 FCA vehicles I've owned or own over the last 5 years. The A/C issue is one that FCA should fix, but if you don't think that Ford or GM have their own issues you're crazy. I have owned 49 cars over my 20 years of driving and I can tell you that I ended up suing Ford for issues with their products and they just didn't care about me as a customer. As being a member of many different FCA product forums and Facebook groups, I see that FCA does take great pride in helping their customers. When I see someone tags @RamCares they respond quickly and do everything they can to help. I have also seen that FCA will buy back vehicles that are problematic and can't be reasonably fixed. I am not saying that your vehicle doesn't have problems that should be fixed quickly, nor am I saying that having problems with a 60k truck is expected and you shouldn't complain. I am saying that you should give FCA and RAM a chance to fix your problems and make it right.

The problems that I have had with Ford was with both a Ford and a Lincoln, in both instances, there were verified major problems (Transmission on the Ford and bad vibration above 50 mph on the Lincoln LS) and Ford told me that the problems were not going to be fixed because I was driving the cars despite the problems. I ended up suing them and won. If my FCA vehicles were experiencing similar issues as the Ford and Lincoln I am confident that FCA would either buy the cars back or actually fix the issue.

Just my 2 cents, I hope that you get your truck fixed or find a truck that makes you happier.

the trick is, you have to just buckle the drivers seatbelt - then climb in the bed.

- Birds seem to like to poop on it, so I have to wash it all the time.

...mine too!

I feel your pain with the 4th note. I can completely agree. I mean what ****ing truck won't let you stand in the bed while driving the truck with ski poles and a tow strap. I can tell you....an absolute turd call a Ram 1500 from 2019. Garbage. I am going to show Ram and drive my truck into a ditch. Yaaa that'll show em.

In all honesty your post made me laugh out loud.

There are plenty of issues. Some have none, some have 2 or 3, some have them all.

A real interesting fact on this forum @Cheated is that once a new member calms down, either from the excitement of owning a new RAM or the anger of an issue, they see that the many members here have come up with ways to get dealers to fix things, FCA to take notice, get something to work, make people accountable, and share info on the good, the bad, and the ugly.

There is so much info here. So if you are not here to just drop one complainer post, then look around. You might just find ways to make that truck right, or get into a RAM that will perform the way the vast majority of them do
Thanks for joining us. Posts like this always show how well the team/group/family here really has stuff handled.
What rear gear, octane of fuel, locker or limited slip, payload needs, towing capacities, MPG, deal and dealership and use of the truck did you have planned before you made your decision that it was wasted money! Those are the types conversations we enjoy so much

Did the seat fan sound like Chewbacca until you restarted it? Mine does that on occasion and I was thinking of trading it in for a .... (pulls card out of hat) Nissan Titan. I heard they are better. ;)

I cannot believe you would ruin a good ol' fashion dogpile with a measured and mature response. Downright inconsiderate. ;)

While it's just beating a dead horse, now, I am enjoying the witty, sarcastic responses.
<note to self, ensure I am truly done with this forum before I say some whiny, unsubstantiated shiz that will bring the full force of Anonymous' 5THGENRAM Chapter upon me. Its all about the LOLZ for them.>

Well dang, I didn’t know someone couldn’t come on here and vent in their frustration without being treated so poorly. The way this topic is being treated would be no different if I were to attack everyone who just joined and posted their first post saying they love their new truck and I responded saying I can’t agree because I don’t know everything about your new truck and just wait you are going to have a ton of recalls and problems left to be addressed by likely poor customer service. Or we could make a rule where you can’t speak in a negative manner of Ram so that those without major problems aren’t offended and Ram gets a free pass on those who do have them. I understand a lot of information wasn’t provided but there is no reason to just jump on an opportunity to try and belittle someone. I would say more but I have to go chest bump my buddies for being a forum warrior.

Disclaimer: Just read this topic after a poor update on my truck that has been at dealer for almost 2 and a half months now.
