Front & back outlets not enough juice

So I have a Laramie everything but air suspension in it. I have 2 3 prong plugs one up front and one on the back center console. I took a 1k mike trip and the plugs don’t have enough juice to charge iPads? I’m using the 20w wall chargers for the iPads to. My ford I had was able to charge both of them just fine. Am I missing something in the 2019 Rams? They say 115v on the plug covers in the truck. Anyone have this issue?

They should be able to handle both I pads no problem. Have you checked to see if they have power going to them at all?

There's definitely an issue, because each outlet in the ram is rated at 400 watts. iPad chargers are 12 watts and 10 watts, respectively. Take it to the dealer.

same usb cable in both cases?

if it's not the OEM cable (or 'certified lightening') i've seen apple products will charge slow,even with the oem charger but non-oem cable.

like said above though, if it's all oem, is it tripping the circuit/blowing a fuse? that'd be a dealer visit for sure

Cables aren’t oems however the same cables charged just fine in the f150.

There is power because the cables have lights to show it does have power.

Cables aren’t oems however the same cables charged just fine in the f150.

fair enough - if it worked in one it should work the same in the other... makes me wonder if the inverter in the ram or f150 are pure sine wave vs modified sine; that makes a difference with the charging brick (and other devices).

I'd definitely give an OEM cable a shot or even just another cable, the LED cables are notorious for robbing power while charging

The charger states: input 120V ~ 60Hz 80W.

If working correctly, it should not have any issues with this.

Yes -- 80W is less than 400W .. (REMEMBER: that is 400 W divided by 3 outlets if you want to use more than 1)

He mentioned "small" USB, I think perhaps he's talking about the USB-C port (maybe).

There is a new port for USB on Ryobi 40V battery chargers.

Crazy! How long does it take to charge? Longer than normal battery charger I presume/assume?

I was going to use my RAMBOX 115V to charge my UAS (aka Drone) batteries myself.
