I hear you. I'm holding out for a 4" with 35"s. The factory rake is killing me though - its getting harder and harder to not get a small leveling kit in the interim.

The factory Rake is HORRIBLE!!! paired with the fender flares and tiny wheels I can’t hold off much longer either lol but it’s so damn comfortable to drive that I am enjoying the smooth driving Before the meaty tires arrive...

Looks amazing! Not sure I could get my newly-ordered Longhorn in my garage with a 6” left though. Just purchased a 2019 longhorn yesterday and the Ram dealer’s aftermarket specialist told me that “a software module is not available for the 2018’s or 2019’s so 35s are not compatible with anything after 2017 models”. Yet I’m seeing so many 35s on 2018/2019 models. Am I missing something? My truck is will take 4 to 6 weeks to build and I hope I might have an option for 35’s. HELP!

Plenty of people are rocking 35s. I've got 34s because I didn't get the 3.92 gears. He may be referring to the speedometer. I couldn't get the dealer to reprogram it for my 34s and they said they couldn't do it for the last two years. I just have to be mindful that it is off.
Hypertech does have a compatible tool out that will reprogram tire sizes for the 2019s.

From what I've gathered, even with the 3.21 gears, 35s should be fine thanks to the 8 speed transmission. The 1st gear is low enough that it shouldn't feel sluggish. You may have a little bit of gear hunting at highway speeds with 35s, between gears 7 and 8. You can negate that by only allowing it to go into 7th gear with the gear limiter. Tbis also turns off the MDS. If I could go back and buy my tires again I would get 35s.

As far as the warranty, the Moss Magnuson act protects you. The dealer has to be able to prove that the modification caused the failure. Even then, the bigger lift companies warranty their product and your drivetrain if it is found out the lift does cause the problem. I dont know that I'll go with a 6" lift, but I will probably go with at least a 4" when more options are available.

Fuel economy is going to take a hit regardless. With 34s I can still get 18-19 on the highway. 35s I would imagine another 1-2 mpg drop. Ride quality should still be good. It will be stiffer but more so because of the stiffer tires than anything else. I've got 275/65 BFG KO2s and while it is a little rougher, it is not bad enough to bother me at all.

Thanks again. I’m Not familiar with the gear limiter but considering that I drive more than 30,000 miles a year and 90% of it is above 60 mph to lose my eight gear might be a dealbreaker. 34s appearance and performance wise are plenty enough. Like I said that's what I run, and no issue whatsoever. 35s may or may not have the gear hunting, experiences seem to vary. Here's my truck leveled with 34s to give you an idea of looks.

the readylift kit is 3.5 and fits 35s well
