My new 2019 Laramie crew cab sport short bed

so I got my truck last thursday and have about 300 miles on it and I do like it much better than my 15' silverado LTZ that I had but....

I somehow got 2 dents already (1 chip) so im pretty pissy about that... I also plasti dipped the letters/emblems black today and even though I taped off a good portion of the car still got some overspray so that is frustrating.

Things I like better about this truck than my silverado :

-fog lights auto on with headlamps
-LED everything
-more power
-ride seems smoother
-navi/entertainment is much more responsive
-reverse camera is crisper/HD
-AC/heated seats seem stronger
-seems the remote start runs for 5 mins longer
-looks much better/more attractive

Things I dislike :

-still getting used to the shifer knob
-AC not that great (common complaint)
-cant fold the power mirrors in with the remote or auto when it shuts the truck (only with the button by the mirror adjuster)

things ive done so far (besides manage to get it dented )
-20% tint over back 20%
-20% tint on front 2 windows (guy screwed up was supposed to be 5%) but o well
-plasti dip emblems black
-order black emblems for front grill
-thinking about lowering 2" in the rear to level it out ( similar to taking the blocks out on my silverado)

Sweet ride. My twin except my wheels are aftermarket. Black instead of dark gray and 22x10 instead of 22x9. Also 305 tires instead of 285. And my rear is lowered 2"

You like the rear lowered ? Does it sag when u tow ? Change ride at all ?
 
Ride the same but less roll in turns.

best part about PlastiDip overspray -- you can just peel it off :)
 
Just got it ceramic waxed today . Truck looks great . Although did have a weird glitch where it was making the buzzing sound like I was gonna back into something only wouldn’t stop no matter what finally disconnected battery for 20 mins and re connected it and it went away

not the full ceramic coating thing thats insanely expensive the guys across from my shop just got some sort of ceramic wax they said its good for 4-6 months
 
I was torn which direction to go but can’t recall the last time I needed my whole bed plus I have a utility trailer. Plus I really needed the security protection. Yea we buds. Lol
 
Welcome and congrats on the new truck. Get this extra rebate for some more mod money...

Make sure you go file for this additional rebate. Seems like they have been having problems with vin numbers being in the system so you have to call them so they send you the actual app. Do it within 60 days of purchase. Many of us have already received our checks. No strings attached.

The only qualification is that “someone in your household” must have a non-FCA vehicle.
