19Jake,
Earlier you posted Bora and now Coyote, which do you have installed, and do you have any vibrations as posted at higher speeds?

Anyone else reading this thread experience the vibrations questioned above?

A few VA doctor appointments have set back my trip to PA. At this point I will have time to purchase my wheel spacers with time to spare before my trip which at that time I will drive at sustained speeds....around 70ish.

I have read where others have cleaned contact areas and applied either red or blue loctite. For those that have driven with wheel spacers for years; what procedures have you applied (if any) other than ensuring proper ft/lb torquing (and going back and rechecking after x period of time)?

Thanks!

I'd love to try a 1" or 1.5" spacer on factory Rebel wheels with a 35" tires. My only concern/hesitation is having the factory studs to deal with.

What is the smallest spacer where the factory studs don't affect clearance, 2"?

On my Jeep, the factory wheels had holes/indents where the studs from the jeep could poke through the spacers and sit inside the indent. I picked up different rims and the indents weren't there, and I fretted for a while about that. In the end, I just brought it to a good mechanic and he trimmed off the extra bolt length. Never had an issue with that in about 5 years now. Just means you can never pull your spacers off without having to replace the factory lugs on your truck.

They are 275/60R20’s.

cgraydotcom,

Do you think you could install 2" wheel spacers up front, now that you have 1.5" installed?

What tire (name) do you have? I ask this because I am hoping my pre-measurements are off. I have same tire size as you do 275/60/20 (Falken AT3W) and I want 2" but I am thinking the best bet would be the 1.5" up front from what I have measured.

Possible you can take a pic of driver front wheel with it turned all the way to the right to see how much room is inside wheel well there? If you don't have time now I understand. Thanks!

This is exactly what I’m considering for my Laramies. I’m going to pull a stock wheel before ordering “just to be sure” that the indent in the back of the wheel will work without trimming lug studs. That’s a non starter for me.

Hello Ram FAM!! Thought I'd chime in and give my experience with 2" Hub-Centric Spacers. I have the 22" OEM wheels and the spacers did not fit flush against the back of the wheel hub at all. When i put my aftermarket 20" dropstars wheels on the spacers they lfit snug and tight against the bore but not the Stock Wheels. I did not feel safe with them at all. Just saying....

If I may ask, what brand were your spacers?

I'm not sure that the brand and or quality of the spacer is the issue... The underlying issue is the geometry of the back of the stock wheel not laying flush against a hubcentric spacer. I will say These were a solid spacer only issue was my 12" wide tires would rub when on my truck.

Installed 1.5" Yitamotor spacers from Amazon last weekend, and they've been great. Perfect fit, no issues with stud length or bolts, everything is still tight and torqued as of this morning, and the perfect amount of poke just outside of the fenders. I'd highly recommend them, great for the price.
