Any issues with the automatic high beams and the light show? I'd like to program a setup to use being a volunteer firefighter

Just download the ZPU utility and enable light show while driving. Works fine.

I am guessing that the Tazer needs to be connected to your computer in order for the software to allow you to play with it? Would be nice if you could create files off-line and not be connected.

I messaged the vendor on Facebook (unashamedly begging for the discount), and they added me to their list and gave me the code. No promises, but worth a shot.

I received mine yesterday, but I'm waiting to install it until April 5th since I am bringing the truck to the dealership for the pedal recall and to look at the cameras again (both to investigate adding the rear camera centerline and to investigate the freezing temp image corruption again); I know that (after connecting then when removing the Tazer) the truck can be reset to default in theory, but I would just have to repeat all the work twice for only a week's benefit if I connected it now.

How much was the discount?

The instructions state they can be programmed for parade use, though I didn't see how. Might need to get a custom firmware from the Manufacturer after providing proof of legitimate need and signing a release of liability.

I'd prefer to leave it to them to share. As any blue/ green light user knows it is highly illegal to use unless authorized by dept and responding to a call.

I use them all the time when I am in a hurry to get somewhere and love to see people pull over to get out of my way.....

Just kidding but would be fun to see I actually do know someone from years back that did this and never got caught but not my cup of tea...too risk adverse.

A bit off topic, but this behavior always got to me. It is annoying to disrupt traffic in order to bypass it, but it is far more dangerous to get caught and then cause stricter legislation that forces legitimate professionals and volunteers to be restricted from using them and less likely to quickly respond to an emergency when they are needed.

I hope all of the members of this forum respect the laws and never jeopardize the privileges granted to those in service to the community for such petty personal gains.

No need in all that. It's a check box in the utility software that the manual tells you to download. Anyone can enable Light Show while driving.

I played around with creating a Custom Light show that turned on every white light on the front of the truck. No flashing. I was hoping for more visibility on rural roads. I enable the Light Show Custom_1 and drove around. It wasn't any better than High Beams + Fogs. I'll still get some use out of it by lighting up the back yard when feeding the dogs at night. The Light Show doesn't time out like it does when I press unlock on the FOB.

Enhancements I'd like to see:

Light Show: Add the side mirror courtesy lights to the list of controllable lights.

ZPU: Allow setting ALL options via software. This would be a good work around for Pulsar users.

Air Suspension: manual front and rear hight adjustment. Ability to save current adjusted height as current selected air suspension height (alter calibrations to level the truck)

Uconnect: Live Function to reboot the radio. NOBODY knows how to manually reboot the radio.

AutoDim Side Mirrors: Disable auto-dim. Owners with tinted side windows don't need darker side mirrors. They are too dark.

Sunroof: add option to raise the sunroof with auto-window roll down. Helps truck cool down quicker.

Quick question and I've been trying to figure out what the key fob but end up just pressing buttons so many times I'm not 100% certain. It's related to the five button press two lower the windows and the five button press to do the light show. Tell me if I'm right or slightly off.

pressing the unlock button five times rapidly will lower the windows.

Pressing the unlock button five times with long presses will activate the light show.

Pressing the unlock button again once light show initiates will scroll through the different light show scenes.

How do you stop the light show? Is it pressing the lock button once or pressing the lock button five slow times I thought I remember seeing a video of just pressing lock

and then to raise the windows is 5 quick presses of the lock button

Do the above sound correct?

I've got them all to work but somewhat intermittently I think I might need the doors to be locked and wait a few seconds before initiating some of the sequences is that also correct? You need the doors locked or unlocked before initiating any of the button pressing sequences? Does that even matter.
