It would be nice to see if the parts or this part of the console can be added after the fact. My kids would definately benefit from it.

The only concern would be if you need the inverter for the USB ports. I know that if you get the Non-BSG big Horn 2 it deletes the inverter which deletes the rear plugs

That's the front, the rears would be under optional with the 400w inverter

Oh well, that’s what I figured! Would be nice to have but not the end of the world.

The inverter is for the 3 prong outlet not the USB’s.

Edit: While waiting on my truck at the dealer I saw that the rear has the 3 prong outlet as well. Didn’t remember seeing that on the models in June/July last year.

Just the front unfortunately. It would be under optional equipment. In addition, your sticker shows level 1 equipment group. To get the rear USB and power inverter options, you need the level 2.

Yeah, I was just hoping they made a mistake and I could get them installed for free!! oh well!! It's a helluva nice truck, but a few things they cheaped out on IMO. Rear USB ports being one and the cheesy half rear-wheel well liners being another. I know mine's "only" a Big Horn, but it's still a very expensive vehicle.

Totally agree! I wish these minor things would come standard or beyond the SXT model. The other thing G's that they shorted on was LED lights. I have the sport model and everything is LED except the floor lights and the aux lights for the box. It's an easy swap but just doesn't make sense. Regardless, I agree it is the best truck on the market IMO and one of the best Rams made so far.

Thinks like these infuriate me. Like, why give you LEDs everywhere, but not for cargo/third brake light?, or the vanity mirrors on the visors? Does not track. Sheesh.

If I had one regret, it would be that I didn't get LED lighting. I have never been a fan of the way they look, but they have grown on me, especially the tail lights. I don't hate the look of my headlights, but the tail lights look awful. That said, when I first got it, I leased it and had no intention of keeping it past 36 months. I have since purchased it.. Don't see too many new vehicles with halogen lights at any price point... Even the GM's are standard on almost every trim since 2016. All of that said, I will not be retrofitting LED lights for $1.5g, I'm just going to live with it!

You can get oem led tails for about $300 each.

At least Big Horn and up IMO.
In my opinion, every trim should have it.
The base Tacoma SR we just bought for our son, has full LED tail lights, cargo, third brake, and inside the bed, and it was roughly the third of the price of my Limited.

Ok, you convinced me! Probably be on the 2020s. That's what happened to me on my 2015 SIERRA, no LEDS on the SLE trim then 2016 all trims got standard LED.. even the base model.

Mine has the USB plugs in the rear but no inverter. There's just a "blank" where it should have been. My truck was built in July and from what I gather it was not supposed to come with it. I thought about adding a 12v plug to the blank since I imagine I can just tap into something under the console.

That’s the usb hub I would like to get a part number for. I don’t care about the inverter.

I can see why it has been added, since ford has it on their console trucks.
