Truth be told - I haven't been able to get Wi-Fi to work on any of our trucks. Me thinks it may be a USA thing like Sirius XM Traffic.

Also - where'd you purchase from!?

The in car WiFi is through att only. The Sirius Guardian has to be active in order to activate the WiFi. If the guardian isn’t active you will be told WiFi coming soon. There is a link in your moose owner account to activate.

It is 20$ a month without att service and 10$ if you do.

“unlimited” data then throttled after 22gb. Same regardless if you are with att or not.

It’s awesome to have but some devices will not work on it because it is a 5ghz only WiFi network so any WiFi units that are 2.4 ghz will not connect such as escort radars

It makes your truck a WiFi hot spot. It connects via at&t cellular modem to the internet

Yeah, all Canadians have a moose owner account and are required by the Canadian constitution to carry around a copy of Maple Syrup: The Ambrosia of the Gods in their glovebox for when they need to proselytize uncultured rubes like us Americans.

Not sure where you're getting those pricing numbers from, but I am an ATT mobile customer. The "plan" is $20/mo and there is also a "device access charge" for $10 a month, making it $30/mo.

I need to let my buddy in Vancouver know about the moose account lol, and ask him how much maple syrup he uses in a year. He will get a kick out of it!

Shout out to my northern brothers! Snapped this when I was in Buffalo a couple months ago.

So I just signed up for wifi apparently I get 1gb or one month free but then in Canada, the rates are high. I wish it was 20-30 for unlimited but rather its 70$ per month for 10gb although I'm sure 4gb should be enough for me and my family.
I did not try it in my truck yet but tomorrow I should know how it works.

You should probably compare prices to hotspot on your phone. All late model smart phones support it if the carrier does. Mine is included with my account. Others have an up charge. Maybe the vehicle will get better reception but they need to price this stuff to be competitive with phone hotspot.

Pricing is pretty clear to me... much better than the old Uconnect wifi pricing in my '17 Jeep.

...lol. 1 GB? Who the hell would pay $10/mo for 1 GB/mobile share plan when you can have unlimited for $20.
