Who else is sick and tired of the non power folding tow mirrors?

I hope this doesn't seem too unrelated to this thread, but do the tow mirrors work with the memory settings? I understand they don't power fold, but I assumed that the memory function would still adjust the mirrors when switching between settings (like it does for the seat, media settings, etc. Mine does not, and the dealer says that the tow mirrors don't integrate with the memory settings like the non-tow ones do. Is that true?

Here's the kicker: I just had it into the dealer for warranty service related to this, and they said the infotainment unit needed to be replaced to fix it. They just did that, and when I picked it up they said that was to resolve some of the other minor issues I was having but that the tow mirrors don't have memory functionality.

I can't seem to find any definitive info on this anywhere on the Web, or in these forums, so I'm hoping some other 5th Gen owners can clue me in. I have seen 4th Gen owners say that the memory function worked—and could remember memory settings for both when it was tilted up or down.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I only have a Big Horn so I don't have any memory functions to begin with but I think the tow mirrors for the '19 and '20 5th Gens are all manual outside of power adjusting for the main mirror.

4th Gens had the ones that the HDs have IIRC with power folding, heat, and maybe memory. I know the '21 5th Gen is getting that back as they are getting the HD mirrors with all the goodies as well as an LED CHSML with camera.

Mine didn't seem to have a memory setting before or after the swap.

Thank you both for the insight. What a disappointment. I was really looking forward to not having to change my mirrors after each time my wife drove the truck. As many others have said, I'm sure this is trying to hold something back to sweeten the later model years. Ah well, I love the truck otherwise.
