Rear window blew out...no reason apparent as to why..was passenger rear which was half-way down at time. Rear sliding window open. Other windows partially open. Couldn't have been a hot/cold thing period. Moving 2-3 mph at time. Impossible for it to have been hit. Window exploded!! Some glass outside some glass inside, was like it just went into a million pieces. Most went into the door itself since so small a pieces. Thank God the great grand BABY wasn't with us! Then insult to injury a major thunder/rain storm hit. My new truck is screwed....1150 miles...I have notified Ram of the defective glass. Happened yesterday afternoon.

I’m glad your grand baby is ok! I can’t imagine how frightening it would for the child.

This is not the first time I read about this, others have also experience their pano roofs exploding. I hope everything gets resolved by your dealership.

First time I've heard of a rear passenger window letting go as well!

Indeed, good thing the baby was not in the vehicle - nor a pet .. scary enough for an adult to live through that!

I wonder where RAM/FCA is getting this glass from? I cannot be tempered correctly at all.
