Hi @Belvata,

I am terribly sorry to hear that you have a whining sound at 50-60 mph on your new Ram. Have you visited your servicing Ram dealer to have this diagnosed? Please send our team a message if you are in need of additional assistance while in service.

I will

Differential whine. Mine has some in the same MPH range, but I've only noticed it while towing.

Your truck is most likely not going to spontaneously explode, so just relax and see if the dealer says it's excessive or not. In my experience all differentials whine, it just depends on where they do it and how annoying it is when they do.

Mine whines once you cross 80, otherwise it's pretty quiet. 3.92 gears as well.

Have you gone to dealer
I have not. It doesn't sound like anything bad, just a bit of deceleration whine. At that speed, with how fast a 3.92:1 gear is turning, it sounds pretty normal.
