Anyone installed or thought about putting wheel spacers on the OEM tire setup? Currently in a Rebel and wondering if anyone has done so?

I've thought about running a .25" spacer when I upgrade tires. Just depends on if I want to run 305 or 295 wide tires. Most people love motorsport tech spacers since they're hub-centric.

Spend the extra money on the BORA and go hub centric. With factory 20s you can run as low as 1" thick
You cant run as low as 1" thick without cutting 1" off the original studs...but yes BORA is the best, if available

Yes you can, take off your wheel and flip it around , the stock wheels have 1-1/4 " deep pockets cast into them that the studs can nest into, factory GM wheels are that way too just not quite as deep this is the back side of my 20 Laramie wheel

Looks really good but isn't a 2" spacer a little hard on the wheel bearings?

Yup, harder on the entire front end, it puts more leverage on every component, steering, ball joints, rod ends, wheel bearings, you name it, it affects the scrub radius which will have affect on steering and the loads on the tie rods when driving in straight line.

I ran 1" spacers on my Passat for 10 years, and have 1.25" Bora's on my Jeep Cherokee. I think a 1"-1.5" Bora spacers on stock Ram wheel set-up is a no brainer.

I agree, and the way that Ram casts the factory wheels allows you to run a 1" BORA adapter without having to trim the studs down, at least on the 20" Laramie wheels, I would assume they did they same on the others as well.

I installed 1.250” BORAs on my JGC and loved them. But had to trim the studs about 1/4” because the wheels are solid mounting surface. I was here searching for the wheel info to find out if they had the pockets, and I am thrilled that they do. I will be ordering them immediately. Thanks for the info folks.

I put 2 inch hubCentric spacers and have zero issues with my 2019 Laramie. I've had them on for 3000 miles already. At first i purchased the 1.5 inch spacers but that DID require me to trim the threads. I returned them and went for the 2 inch, and that required no trimming and it gave me the stance that I was looking for. I would recommend HubCentric, that way the spacer and tire will rest on the Hub and not on the lugs!! Here's a video of my Laramie with and without the wheel spacers. Hope this helps. Enjoy:
